   Good food and knowledgeable staff. I have been there a couple of times and always had a good experience. This time around four of us shared a lot of small plates. Keeping everyone’s dietary needs of no meat, or no gluten, or no shell fish, we were still able to get a good array of small plates to feel satisfied and full. I have had the main entrees too and they are equally delicious. The desserts offered were delicious too.

   Got the worst table in the restaurant. Server refused to move us even though there were open tables. Food quality seems to have gone down. Chowmein was dry and flavorless.

   Excellent service and great tasting curry dishes. Definitely would go back in a heart beat. Big shareable dishes.

   We had a wonderful time at Base Camp on Saturday night. The restaurant was busy with all tables full (except for ours) when we arrived. All 6 of us were seated promptly. Highlights were the helpful and friendly service, the food (!), and the lively energy surrounding us. We enjoyed Samosas, Curry, Chow Mein, Naan, Dal, Watermelon + Feta salad (?), and Butter Chicken. The advice about how much to order was spot on. We will be back!

   Incredible food and service. We had a table of 9 and they handled us quickly and efficiently while not feeling rushed. And on a busy Friday night! Thank you BC

   Since randomly discovering Base Camp a couple of years ago, I have been back about 12 times and I have brought many others with me to share the experience. Each time is a smashing success. The food is always flavorful and hearty with good sized portions. They adapt meals to accommodate vegan and vegetarian diets, something very important among my family and friends. The service is always excellent and the price point very reasonable for spendy San Francisco. Base Camp continues to be one of my favorite go-to restaurants in the Bay Area.

    I've been here three times now and the food is always amazing. The staff is friendly, fast, and as attentive as they can be with a full house. (This place is usually busy but that is not a bad sign to me!) I highly recommend their momos and chow mein, but I've never had a dish here I didn't like.
