Barn Joo35 is a Korean-inspired gastropub located at the heart of midtown. The exciting characteristic of Barn Joo's menu is a changing array of Small to Large plates and soju cocktails – highlighting the use of farm to table ingredients – offering comfort foods with the touch of Korean soul. We focus on bringing the best out of ingredients and transform them into exotic flavor profiles, yet in a simple form that our guests can relate to. Had a great time here. Have eaten at other places on 35, but first time here. Made reservation on Open Table so got to spin wheel going in. Great start. Got popcorn chicken, truffle fries, seafood pancake, galbi Jim and hot stone bulgogi bowl. Fried foods were done perfectly and not greasy. Seafood pancake was thicker and cooked well with plenty of fillings. One of better ones we’ve had. Galbi Jim was more soupy than stewy but really flavorful w great short ribs. Hot stone bowl was excellent. Finished w nice ice cream. Excellent service. Will return.

We enjoyed a wonderful dining experience at Barn Joo. The staff is so nice from beginning to end. The Hostess friendly and had us spin the wheel for a drink/snack and that was a fun touch. The food was so tasty and flavorful and our servers very patient and kind answering our questions and making recommendations. Our appetizer were the Korean chicken wings hot and spicy, just perfect spice not overwhelming. Our entree was the braised pork belly with lettuce wraps and it was beyond delicious. Thank you to the entire Barn Joo 35 Team you are terrific!

Food and service was excellent. Make a reservation. People with reservations can spin a prize wheel and we got a free glass of wine. Highly recommend.

Very nice spot in Korea Town . . . You get a big bang for your buck too. I ordered the Stone Hot Pot and it came with a salad, broth, and a potato croquette and a shrimp tempura.

What a great find. Great concept. Korean gastropub. It where kimchi meets French fries. The portions are huge for $25. I had galbi ssam meal. So good! Definitely go w a lot if people so you can taste everything
