   Beautiful location and wonderful people. Food was great. Music was too loud for one of the members of our group. We ordered a half pitcher of Sangria but a full pitcher was brought to the table. The Sangria seemed non-alcoholic but tasted good. We asked for water, but we should have been more specific because simple tap water was what we expected but bottled water was served. So my advice is to be very clear about the order and send it back if it is not correct. The view and ambience are magical.

   This is our go-to place for a special occasion, in this case a birthday. We lucked out and were seated at the railing on the top floor and the sunset was a perfect one! The service was impeccable all evening. The dishes we picked were just right. It is always better to have more than 2 people to share the dishes, even with 3 it worked out great. We love the free potato salad starter they always bring to the table. Everything we ordered from salad and croquettes to potatoes and ribs was well prepared and tasty. We got our birthday flan but also ordered off the menu. The menu flan was especially good. The wine list has a variety of price levels appropriate for a fine dining restaurant, mostly Spain and Mexico. We often take visitors here as the penultimate dinner of their stay. It is a great sendoff from PV.

   Absolutely loved this place! Juan Gil was our server he was fantastic and the flamenco dancers and singers really made our night! The food and wine were equally good! I am from San Francisco and this place was just as good as any place there !

   Ths was our 2nd visit to Barcelona Tapas this trip to PV. We had a wonderful Valentines dinner here at the front end of our vacation. We enjoyed it so much we decided to return for our last night in PV. We requested to have Alfredo be our waiter because he was so attentive to us the 1st time and also recommended some excellent wines. He did not disappoint us the 2nd time around. He remembered our wine preferences and brought the bottle we had wanted to try the first trip, but they were out of. It was excellent. Food was excellent was well. We loved the pulpo, so tender and buttery. The waygu ribeye melted in our mouths. Paella was also delicious and they were very accommodating with preparing it to my request. We were thrilled they have maintained a high standard in service and food quality over the past few years that we’ve returned to PV, year after year!

    The first time back for quite some time. Very welcoming. We were given a table beside a group of very drunk people. We were able to move so all good In general the food was good but not outstanding. Service was okay until it came to paying. The server asked for a 15% tip which we agreed to. However he added a higher % on to the final payment. What? He argued that we had agreed to the higher amount. No. He said he would give it back in cash. Off the books? Anyway the experience was not great. After many years of coming to PV this is the only dishonest experience I’ve experienced and I would not have expected it to happen at an establishment with the tenure of Barcelona Tapas.
