   The entire experience was great. Well balanced drinks, attentive server, the manager brought us our food and gave us some ideas on what to do in Irving. The parking was a little over the top, if you don’t read carefully you can pay some enormous fees, but if you park in the garage directly behind the restaurant they will validate parking.

   I understand it was Christmas. But she actively ignored us while rolling. I also serve I could tell she was only checking on her tables as her second priority. Forgot waters. And second alcoholic drink. It wasn’t that she was busy. She had us a, a two top btw, and another 2 top. That’s it. She was being lazy and that’s what annoyed me.

   No high chairs available. The special that was advertised was not available. Waited over an hour for our food and left.

   Worst run Bar Louie around. Do not go here. Plenty of other options around. Management is terrible. The GM needs to gut the staff and start over.

   It was Christmas Day so you know there will be some challenges. The kitchen was very short staffed, actually only the manager and one other person cooking. That backed up food. When the food finally came out, of course parts were cold. We did not punish our server, it was her first day... She told us to call her P....she is from Venezuela and said her name was hard to pronounce. She was really nice and we tipped her well...did not take the kitchen out on her. Of course it goes without saying...some guy too drunk at the bar started a shouting match because another bar patron was quietly mentioning the lack of service at the bar. Of course that tough guy was quickly put in his place by a bystander ordering him to watch his language because there were children in the restaurant. He soon left with his tail between his legs...as he should have...I know his companion was completely embarrassed...he made such a fool of himself. I like Bar Louie and we will be sure to come back.
