This is not a large space which I loved. It felt cozy. The food was amazing! I ordered the risotto and my husband ordered short ribs. Both were just delicious (we shared 🙂) The service was the best we have encountered in a while. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. We will be visiting BarCino again soon.

I was thrilled to find such healthy options, such nice ambiance and a lovely waitress here at a restaurant that was open on a Monday when so many others are closed on Monday! Newport Restaurant Group never fails to please me!! I wish I had thought to order my salmon well done but I loved how you had sparkling san pellegrino water in a can so I didn't have to purchase a large bottle!

This was our first time dining at Barcino but it won’t be our last. The staff were friendly. Our waitress gave some suggestions for our dinner choices and she was right everything we ordered was fabulous!

Small and intimate Italian restaurant in downtown Newport. I have wanted to go here for a bit and was happy I did, to check it off the list. The ambiance was nice for lunch and the service was good. However our server didn’t bring her section bread while the server working the section right next to us was quick to serve bread - so make sure to ask for it if they don’t give it to you! We went at lunch time, had a glass of wine, three appetizers and a pizza. The appetizers were tasty, all but the broccolini - just wasn’t as good as we hoped. The tricolored carrots were delicious but they were better separated from the ricotta cheese they sat upon, however the ricotta cheese was also delicious. The clams were yummy and flavorful. We had the prosciutto fig pizza. It was good. Loved how thin the crust was made it very easy to eat the whole thing. Finally we had the lemon mascarpone cake for dessert and that was the best part of the meal!! And SO happy we didn’t skimp on it.
