   Our experience at Bar Cecil was OVER the top! We tried to get a reservation here for weeks, and ended up getting a last minute reservation. Our waiter, Josh, made the entire experience so pleasant and made us feel like we were Palm Springs locals. We were celebrating a birthday and he made us feel very special! We had the grilled artichokes and steak frites and my mom says “they were the best steak frites she’s ever had”. I would 10/10 recommend going to Bar Cecil if you can get a resy!!!

   So not sure what all the fuss is about. Waited patiently to get reservations and we won’t do that again. Food was fine, drinks were ok so we had no complaints there, just not special Waiter was fun

   Tiny kitchen therefore limited menu. If you can get a reservation, it will be accidentally. Don’t stress too much if you miss this one. That said, service is excellent.

   First I have complained about there reservation system in the past. I would like to compliment them on making some improvements on the system. They still have a ways to go, but they are trying. Everything else was fantastic, the ambience the service and our meal. I do wish they would bring back the French Onion soup. I have many more people to introduce to this great addition to Palm Springs. Thanks for making me look so good. Dianna

   Bar Cecil is always exceptional. The food, service and bar are not only the best in Coachella Valley, but across the country. Don’t miss menu items inc steak frites, sole meunière, pork chop. Grilled artichoke a great starter as well. Good wine and cocktail list served by “A” bartenders as well. A bit pricey and a challenging res, but well worth the wait.

   Exceeded all expectations and they were high expectations. Bread & Butter, Escargot, Caviar, Cacio e Pepe, Ribeye, and the dessert were all exquisite. Service and ambiance/decor top notch. Cannot recommend enough. It's not just hype; it's a world class experience.

   My second visit to Bar Cecil, we’d go more often but it is a 45 minute drive for us (in La Quinta) and very difficult to get a reservation because it is fantastic, but small. Had a lovely birthday dinner which the staff made special with a card on the table and an unannounced candle-lit dessert. Cocktails are on point (delicious French 75, love the Jade Vanity, the $50 martini is worth every penny…)and the food is so delicious. The creamy duck pate is so subtly seasoned - perfectly balanced, the rolls are a must, pork chop, filet of sole superb. Someday I will try one of the delicious sounding salads but it always strikes me as wiser to save room for the less reconstructable courses. This time I tried the special, a mushroom pot pie - it was savory, filling, and beautiful as well with its shiny golden puff pastry chapeau. Interesting wine list with good values on delicious choices. All four of us eat at lovely restaurants regularly, and agreed Bar Cecil is very special. Cool decor and vibe, fun staff (Manuel! Anthony!), and suuuuuch good food!

   If you can get a reservation to Bar Cecil, it’s well worth the trip. Our group enjoyed all of the following—-hangar steak, Thai mussels, sole meunière, and duck pate. The fries that came with the hangar steak were perfectly thin and crispy. The Old Fashioned is an excellent drink,if you enjoy alcohol.
