Please join us at Bar Cecil for a delightful evening. We welcome parties of 5 or fewer guests (limited space for parties of 5). Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate larger parties.

We book tables for 2 hours. Last dinner orders are taken at 9 pm and we close the bar at 10 pm. We've gone cashless and happily accept credit and debit cards.

Due to our small size, tables with separate reservations can not be combined. Please reserve online; if OpenTable is not showing availability, we're fully booked or it is more than 14 days out. We accept reservations up to 30 days out. Our bar is always walk-in and we open at 5 pm (the bar list is usually full around 4:30 pm).

    100 % recommend! I don’t like pate! Until tonight I’d not tried it here for that reason. However, my friends ordered it tonight and: it was heaven! I’ll be going back to have it again. The special was duck and I t was amazing. We were reminded yet again why Bar Cecil is our fav restaurant. Yummy, fun and lively but not too loud.

    Everything was delicious...duck pate was really good (I think it might benefit by the addition of port or brandy:) but still good. Cacio e pepe was perfect, steak frites again perfect. Drinks were delicious. Staff were attentive and humorous....not stuffy and great timing .

    French-Californian dining in an enchanted garden. Great cocktails and wine list. Eating here is always a treat. Casual but also a bit of an event.

    In a word – fantastic! It took us forever to get a reservation, but it was well worth the wait. The ambience is fabulous and the food is excellent. Service was perfect – our server anticipated our needs before we even had to say anything. Another very special touch, one of the owners came by the table to introduce himself and welcome us to the restaurant – very classy. There is a reason why this restaurant is so hard to get into – it is truly a gem here in Palm Springs.

    Bar Cecil is one of my favorite restaurants in the desert. We live down here in the winter and love to come and eat at Bar Cecil. We get the exact same items every time. The mussels (with extra bread), the pork chop and the Cacio E Pepe. Always excellent. Service is phenomenal. I highly recommend this place, the only drawback is it is very tough to get reservations. However if you get there early without a reservation the bar is an awesome place to sit. Usually you need to wait about 40 minutes but the wait isn't bad.

    Great vibe but far too loud of you are at a table in the bar. There were 4 of us but we could only talk to the person next to us but not across the table . Maybe we could request a table on the patio not in the bar Food was good and servers were great. I’m

    LOVED this restaurant, but the "reservations game" is a bit silly. Everything we ordered was enjoyable, and our server, Holly, was THE BEST! It was quite good, but not quite great. Perhaps my expectations were too high? That said, we'll return, for certain, as we had an enjoyable evening at Bar Cecil.
