   Not as good as I remember. Favorites like delicious lamb ribs no longer offered, no more paella’s (!). Other Spanish classics murdered, bravas drowning in sauce, other dishes heavy handed. They still make great cocktails. For the price I’d just have a drink and look elsewhere for food.

   This was a great experience. My wife and I love tapas and were excited to try Bar Casa Vale. It did not disappoint! We had 5 tapas and a dessert along with some gin tonics. The food was creative and amazing. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. The restaurant was small and beautifully decorated. We highly recommend this restaurant.

   The experience of Bar Casa Vale is wonderful as long as you don't look at the price tag. The service is excellent, and the ambiance is very comfortable and warm, even in the "outside" area, which is enclosed and has a fireplace and space heaters. The food is good, just not quite worth the price we paid, in my opinion. Also, a tortilla should be able to stand on its own, and this one needed to hide behind the crab topping, which, along with blocking the taste of the tortilla, greatly added to its price. I invited friends, so was happy to foot the bill, but won't return for a while. As far as food highlights, the cauliflower was amazing, as were the squid fideo, the boquerones, and the orzo with champinones.

   So many good tapas! Best patatas bravos we have ever had, including in Spain. We keep returning.

   Food was absolutely amazing but the service was not the best. We were often left for long periods of time without being checked on or asked if anything was needed.

   If you're after some great Spanish tapas, definitely check out Bar Casa Vale. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The staff are kind and attentive. There's also a great drinks menu with a comprehensive list of Spanish wines and spirits.
