   The food is excellent! Live music was amplified which was unnecessary given the small venue, which is much better suited to an acoustic music performance. We could barely hear each other talk and was even hard to order. Service was well meaning but understaffed. Overall we would return on a night that did not feature live music.

   Love the food, service and ambiance however the music and speaker was soooo loud. Too loud! I felt as if we were in a nightclub instead of a nice restaurant

   Brought my out of town friends to try this restaurant. Food was very tasty- we all had something different and shared. For the life of me I don’t understand a restaurant giving item in three- not two , not four. The restaurant wasn’t very crowded, however our server acted very put out that he had to serve us, drinks and food took a very long time and he forgot a dish, didn’t ask to refill drinks or check in. He did give us a free birthday dessert however it took 20 minutes! I’d go back and hope not to be seated in our servers section.

   Never a bad experience at Banyan’s! We came specifically to try the limited time cornbread tres leches and it was amaaaaazing!! The espresso martini was perfect and so creamy and I FINALLY got around to trying the lobster corndogs. Perfection as always ♥️

   Banyans is truly a craft kitchen. You are definitely getting a unique and flavorful meal. I felt the drink prices were reasonable. The food was a fair value for what you get. Some portions were on the smaller side for the price (kalua pork hash and egg). The chicken and malasada was quite large. When you go out to eat you want to enjoy something different that you wouldn't make at home. Banyans offers this. Our waitserver was polite, efficient and professional. Service time was satisfactory. The decor is nice. The music, while a nice touch, was a bit loud. We look forward to returning to b try their other offerings.

    Ambiance is lovely: nice imitation banyan tree in dining room. Took 45 minutes to receive two very small street tostadas and four fried mushrooms. Flavors were fine. Served on rectangular black trays does not enhance appearance. Kitchen out of two items at 11:30 am opening. There were so many flies buzzing around the table, it was extremely unpleasant. The server even commented saying that “ they are working on that.”
