   Kelvin was EXCELLENT. He coursed our meal out perfectly and the food was the best we had on the island.

   Every aspect of our evening here was wonderful. It was our fourth visit and it never disappoints. Bacaro is a must visit whenever we vacation in Grand Cayman.

   Beautiful setting. Food very good but came out lukewarm warm and even for tapas/small size plates very small portions. Excellent bread. Best dish catch of the day with lobster bisque and callaloo

   The room is lovely and the patio is nice aside from the glaring rope lighting. The food, not my favorite. Everything felt over-done, in both the literal and figurative sense. Either a dish was trying too hard to be something it wasn’t (asparagus smothered in a cheese ‘froth’) or was overcooked (duck confit - crispy on the outside, meat was dry and tough). It felt very country club/yacht club’ dining fare. Maybe we hit a bad night but for me, wasn’t worth the trip.

   This is certainly one of the top 5 - if not top 2 - restaurants I have ever experienced in the world. Food, cocktails, wine, location and service were superb.

    We visit Bacaro every year when we return to Grand Cayman, and it is always our favorite meal of the trip. Small plates allow you to taste lots of flavors and the service and cocktail/wine menu is outstanding
