With rich, dark green walls, elaborate décor and plush banquette seating, Ayllu is a Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant serving contemporary sharing plates, sushi and innovative cocktails.

The cosy restaurant is built around the traditions of the Ayllu community of the Inca Empire. The Ayllu was a group of families that lived together, worked the land together and shared their belongings and mealtimes, just like a large family. Much like the Incan civilisation, Ayllu is about the coming together of friends and families and taking time to share an experience of great food and innovative cocktails with loved ones.

Drawing on the inspiration of the Ayllu community, the menu consists of innovative small plates, designed for the whole table to share. Traditional Peruvian flavours are paired with Japanese influences, bringing fresh and zesty aromas to each dish.

It is a restaurant that makes Japanese and Peruvian dishes, with an excellent touch of high standard, feels on the palate that is cooked with the heart. We all loved it, every time we travel to London we will dine at Ayllu, the very Pro and nice treatment.

The visit was necessary, and a success, everything we were recommended by Morella was delicious and exquisite, the attention to details and friendliness its a big 10, the quality of food is excellent, very elaborate dishes and with great contrasts of flavours, we will repeat

I loved the atmosphere of this place, so chilled, but with a great sound track playing in the background, but that's personal preference. Food wise I was more than happy with my risotto seafood, service was good friendly and speedy. Good selection of beers. Would 100% visit again.

The food the food was just out of this world. I’m giving you guys a 10/10 atmosphere is just so clean. Everything was just so perfect. You need to work on your toilet there were not so clean overall everything was perfect and beautiful.

We were not seated inside Allyu which was disappointing but our drinks were always topped up the food was small plates, not very filling, the dancers were very good but just expected more due to what I had seen on Instagram.

Everything was exceptionally poor and it really put a dampener on our vday celebrations. Our first 5 courses were bland. the sushi pieces had clearly been left out and the rice had started to harden. the guacamole had no flavour. the ceviche was just okay. We then had to wait over an hour for the mains. whilst we waited we both had a glass of gavi for £17 each and it was very low quality for the price. The main beef was okay but overdone. The salmon was absolutely attrocious the rice looked like it would have some flavour but it tasted like nothing and my wife didnt want to eat it. The dessert was fine but overall for £80 pp this was a huge waste of monye and the quality of food was around the level of wagamamas. Terrible.

The food and venue was the only positives about this restaurant. I will give them credit for the food being very tasteful and we’ll pull together. Valentines dinner was an absolute mess. Zero attentiveness from staff, they would hand you a drink menu and never return, leaving you to flag down other staff so you could order a drink 30 minutes later. Took 20+ minutes to even get water and the promised champagne that was supposed to come with the dinner when we first sat. The main course then took over an hour and a half to come out after the first dishes, and staff didn’t clear plates so we were left with dirty plates for that entire period of waiting. The music was confusing, they claimed “live entertainment” but at first had a guitarist for less than 10 minutes, then played house music over the speakers, and then my hopes went up when a violinist came out; only for them to play house music WHILE the violin was being played, forcing the violinist to walk around the restaurant so people could even hear it, and the combination of the too was terrible and the epitome of how the restaurant was functioning that night. Staff was inconsistent, forgetful, inattentive, and who I assume to be the manager was just as poor.
