Escape the chaos of city life and enter a social haven of comfort and warmth in the heart of Paddington, Central London. With rich, dark green walls, elaborate décor and plush banquette seating, Ayllu is a Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant serving contemporary sharing plates, sushi and innovative cocktails.

The cosy restaurant is built around the traditions of the Ayllu community of the Inca Empire. The Ayllu was a group of families that lived together, worked the land together and shared their belongings and mealtimes, just like a large family. Much like the Incan civilisation, Ayllu is about the coming together of friends and families and taking time to share an experience of great food and innovative cocktails with loved ones.

Drawing on the inspiration of the Ayllu community, the menu consists of innovative small plates, designed for the whole table to share. Traditional Peruvian flavours are paired with Japanese influences, bringing fresh and zesty aromas to each dish.

    This was an amazing experience with incredible food. Beef croquettes and crab tacos were the best by far, if you are looking for fine dining go no where further. Our waiter, Azamat was extremely attentive and friendly. Highly reccomend!

    We were excited to come here and our excitement lasted throughout the meal, it was that good. We chose our own rather than opt for the fixed menu and the friendly waiter helped us choose. Every dish was exquisite. From sushis to tiraditos and squid tempura, all sooo great. The service was attentive and helpful without being overbearing, and the general feel was relaxed.

    Simply great. Super Service. Great food.Best south american in London, the ceviche's are absolutely amazing. Had a perfect evening with a lot of fun and a great dining experience. 100% recommendation and we’ll come again for sure.

    Best japanese in town. They have great sushi and ceviches. And the best is to get served by the one and only Azamat, an amazing guy!

    The food was so good !! Really 10/10 ! We started with amazing drinks and apertizers and we ended up the dinner with lots of sushis and boo buns! The service was so amazing and everyone friendly. The food was an explosion in our mouths.

    I went to Ayllu with my best friend for a catch-up, and it was the perfect spot! The food was incredible, every dish was packed with flavor and the DJ’s tunes added such a fun vibe to the evening. The staff were super attentive and made us feel really welcome. Can’t wait to go back!

    Amazing food and service! We visited as a table of ten, ranging in age from 10-70+. We also have a pescatarian amongst us and a fussy eater. Everyone left saying this was the best meal of our holiday! We visited this restaurant last year 3 times and we have rebooked before the end of our current stay. To start with I had the squid, light and perfect! My parents shared the prawns, incredible! The kids had bau buns, which they were crazy about! For mains we had the Nigiri selection, Ayllu platter, and the had a variety of sashimi! Everyone loved it!

    A really lovely Japanese/Peruvian experience. The spicy edamame are perfection as are the tempura squid. The ceviches are a must. Not too expensive, slick service and very overall great experience. Also a great location in Central London.
