   Love this restaurant ... and the new menu! Lovely calm atmosphere, great service and helpful staff. Food is absolutely delicous and love the cocktails. We'll be back soon.

   I had a terrible experience with the starter: they put mussels on a thick layer of what apparently was salt mixed with vinegar. Thinking it was meant to be eaten with the dish I took a big dollop of it and nearly suffocated. The waiter couldn’t care less even once I told him and my throat was horribly burnt. Other than that they were generally not attentive to cutlery (took away chopsticks without replacing them and such). The menu is now £50 and definitely not worth it. Will not go again.

   We recently visited this Aun as a group of five and had an overall enjoyable experience. The food was exceptional, with beautifully prepared dishes. The ambience was also delightful, creating a warm and inviting setting for our evening. However, the service fell short of expectations. We had to repeatedly request wine and food, which disrupted the flow of our meal. For a restaurant in this price range, we anticipated more attentive service. While we loved the food and atmosphere, improved service would elevate the experience to match the premium pricing.

   Intimate dining experience with affordable, quality food. Had the tasting menu and sake tasting. Would recommend for value-for-money special occasions.
