   Our waitress was charming. The restaurant was clean and looked warm and inviting. While small, the menu had many dishes that sounded good. Our choices turned out to be excellent!! And, portion size was spot on - we left and did not feel like we had over eaten!! We look forward to returning to see what is new on the next seasonal menu. Thanks for a wonderful dinner!!

   Service was really good. Food was just okay. Went for Sunday brunch and ordered a Bloody Mary. Way too much garlic and/or onion powder and it was the worst Bloody Mary I have had. The duck on the duck tostada was tasty, but the dish ate way too dry and was bland. It was in desperate need of a sauce of some kind. The biscuits and gravy were like homemade English muffins and not biscuits. The gravy was seriously bland and had no flavor. Had high hopes, but left feeling underwhelmed.

   We had a lovely Valentine’s dinner of bison short ribs and stroganoff with a shared Kale Caesar salad. Both meals were so delicious with amazing flavors with beautiful presentation. We each enjoyed a full bodied Syrah wine. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Aster with an amazing and attentive waitress, Taylor.

   The Entrees were exceptional with a wonderful presentation. But be prepared to allocate extra time as they take care to prepare the entrees, and it takes time. Thank you

   Food overall was very good. My Burger was overcooked and dry but all other entrees were received very well at our table of 4. Appetizers and cocktails were well done and th Pot De Creme was amazing. Great atmosphere and thoughtful menu. Will go back.

   We came in for an early dinner while we were passing through town. What a gem for Midland! We had great service and had the pleasure of learning a little bit about the restaurant and the team! The owner and chef is in the kitchen every day and they are a mighty team of about 6 operating every level of service! Food was great, drinks were unique and very good! If we are ever back in the area, we would absolutely visit again!

   We truly enjoyed our evening at Aster. We were greeted and seated immediately as we walked in the door. Our server Taylor was outstanding, knowledgeable of the menu, prompt and very pleasant. The wide drink menu was fun and well executed. The starters were excellent and plentiful. Dinners were well portioned with great flavors and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The after dinner drinks were the perfect finish to a very relaxed evening. Overall Aster was an excellent choice, clean and fun atmosphere. It was our first experience with Aster; the unanimous decision is we will be back soon. Brunch is in our near future!

    Rocky start, they were out of the bulgogi and duck, which was disappointing on a limited menu. Had a Thai Smoke cocktail, which has mezcal. I think they were out and subbed tequila and a smokey cinnamon stick, because I didn't really taste any mezcal. My wife enjoyed the Singapore Sling, and the Fig in Fashion was good We were hungry and ordered the Pajun and Duck Croquettes which were fine. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and refilled our waters multiple times. The door entering the restaurant kept getting stuck which let in a cold draft, and I had to get out of my seat twice to shut it, which felt silly. We both ordered the Duck Ravioli as our entree. This was great. Very delicious! It was a way to leave on a high note. If we had been seated further inside the restaurant away from the draft, and I had wine... I would have thought everything was perfect. I think it comes down to expectations. If you're expecting a high end experience, then there might be some hiccups. If you're expecting an upper mid type experience, then I'm sure you will be blown away by at least one dish.
