   Great food and ambiance, some servers can be a little lack luster with the service, my server was not as attentive nor detail oriented as some other servers were and left us a little unsatisfied with the service, however the food and ambiance would definitely have me coming back. Was a good 1st time experience at this Morton’s after the downtown location I frequented was closed

   Absolutely terrible service. Almost one hour after we arrived we still hadn’t received our appetizers. The waitress advised that the restaurant was “impacted” and much more crowded than usual. That’s nonsense. A restaurant controls the number of people they let in. If they can’t provide good service because they are too crowded, that’s a choice the staff has made. Then my steak arrived. I had ordered it extra rare as I always do. It arrived medium rare. I couldn’t eat it. Given the amount of time it took for the food to arrive, I couldn’t let my party wait while a new steak was brought to me. I had to go without an entree. How can a steakhouse serve a medium rare steak to a customer that ordered a rare steak? Finally, I ordered coffee with my dessert. The waitress forgot my order. This is an expensive restaurant. The lack of quality service is disgraceful. I have been to that location. Six or seven times. This is the second time I have received this kind of low quality service. I do not think I will be going back there.

   Great restaurant. The only thing they should fix is the lame vegetarian option which was sad and gross. When a team of colleagues come to the restaurant there is always a chance one is vegetarian, in 2024 a GOOD option should exist.

   9:15 was the last available timeslot for Sunday 2/16/25. I understood that it was late and everyone was ready to leave but for it to be shown on your face and in your service was a bit rude. My waiter (Jason) and the bartender were great. This is directed to the manager. She had short, curly, brunette hair and she wore a black blazer. My table, along with 3 others all had our food come out at the same time. The manager walked around and asked everyone EXCEPT US how the food came out and if they were okay. I witnessed it with my own eyes and heard it with my own ears. I didn't like how she purposely overlooked my friends and I. I expected better from the manager. Also, the food wasn't all that great. I give grace because it was closing time, but our steaks were tough. The reason I selected this restaurant is because I had an amazing experience as the one in Nashville. However, LA just did not compare.

   My steak was cold. Fish wasn’t appetizing at all. I was expecting a lot better but didn’t really enjoy the meal.

    I came for the filet a la Oscar and it was absolutely amazing, the rest of the food was fine, the chocolate cake sundae was delicious, but we did not receive fine dining service. I compare Morton’s to Ruth’s Chris and as far as service is concerned, it doesn’t hold a candle to them.
