Our first visit and we couldn’t understand how it has taken us so long to discover this amazing place. The food was fabulous the staff fantastic reasonably priced in a beautiful venue.

Lovely restaurant and well worth the climb through Glasgow to the location. Great food and a lovely ambiance with attentive staff. Also, appreciated not being thrown off the table after a set time.

I recommend Ardnamurchan often however, last night, it didn’t quite cut the mark. The wine wasn’t chilled, the Cullen Skink, normally one of the better ones in Glasgow wasn’t quite as tasty, the fish stew was mostly Salmon with a tiny piece of Monkfish and the charred cauliflower was burnt (didn’t realise you could burn cauliflower) but it really shouldn’t have been served on the plates. To be fair the only items we complained about were the wine, which was promptly removed and chilled and the cauliflower, which the waitress apologised for.

Overall very happy with food and service the only thing was a problem was that my first drink (raspberry lemonade) was so full of crushed ice that there was almost no drink in the glass I spoke to a member of staff who sorted it out for me. My second drink was fine.

We love Ardnamurchan. Every time we have visited the food has been excellent. You must try the scallops. Lovely friendly staff. Will be back again soon.
