   Exceptional Food, friendly and helpful service, knowledgeable sommelier, the list goes on. This was our first visit to Arden, we were celebrating my sons 25th birthday. We shared family style and enjoyed every bit of the experience. All the dishes had something special! We had the hamachi sashimi, foie gras terrine, romaine salad, tomatoes stracciatella, lamb lollipops, grilled peppercorn ahi, Kona kampachi, braised oxtail, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, panna cotta…ALL Delicious! We can’t wait to go back to try the other half of the menu! Easy parking, make this your next date night!

   Lot's of noise and not crowded. Food was EXCELLENT. Need to hire more help and train them well. Great mai tai.

   Service: Our server Siah was great, he took the time to explain the menu and didn’t rush us. However, we felt like we were forgotten at times. The hostess (who was outstanding) sat us, then we had to wait a while for our server to come. Once ordered, our drinks and food came out quickly. After our mains we had to wait a while to order dessert. Then we had to wait a while to get our check. It seems they were down a server. Food: All our food was great. A lot of flavor but not overwhelming. Hamachi sushi was fresh and delicious. Brussel sprouts were good, not amazing. Mushroom rice was outstanding. The ribeye was cooked exactly how we ordered it, which isn’t common for some reason. We don’t usually put sauce on steak but their sauce was a great compliment. The steamed kanpachi was cooked perfectly. While it came out covered in a white sauce it was actually very light and tasty. We order the chocolate brownie dessert which was delicious. Overall, we will probably return and would recommend to others. Hopefully we will have more attentive service next time.

   The food, service, and ambience at Arden are very good but the prices (like most upscale restaurants in Waikiki) are opportunistically high.

With regard to your comment about our pricing structure, we feel that we are actually offering a great value compared to our competitors. Our reasoning is twofold: our Large Format Sharing plates and impeccable ingredient sourcing. Our plates are priced and portioned for 2-3 people. The prices are high, but this is due to the larger portion sizes. Secondly, our chef is committed to supporting small Fishermen, farmers, and producers from here in the Islands. We use top-quality ingredients and we hope that it shows in our cooking. Thank you again for your feedback. We continue to improve and would love to see you again very soon.

    Our dining experience would have been more enjoyable if it wasn't so noisy. There was a large group in area near bar that got louder and louder as the night went on. I couldn't hear most of what my guest said. But the butterfish, butternut squash soup and tiramisu dessert were good.
