Focaccia and whipped ricotta were nice. The real stand outs were the pastas (lemon tortelli & plin) had I know they were that good I would have skipped the third course and got another pasta. Third course we got the bone marrow mashed potatoes which were decadent and the pork ribs (huge portion but were a bit dry) sadly was too full for their homemade ice cream but will be back!

We chose this restaurant for a birthday celebration based on a recent review from Infatuation LA. Although we arrived on time, we were seated 20 minutes after our reservation time. Our server comped an appetizer of focaccia and whipped ricotta for our inconvenience, which we appreciated, though the addition of pistachios to the ricotta made for an odd texture on the warm bread. The relatively small wine list included some exciting choices. We drank a delightful Barbaresco that was fairly priced. Unfortunately, they were sold out of two menu selections we were really hoping to try. Instead, our party of three had two pastas and a secondo. The pappardelle was hearty and filling, but lacked the richness of flavor that I had really hoped for. The addition of veal tongue in the ragù added an enjoyable layer of texture. Uni added a delicious salty creaminess to the spaghetti, but lost its allure after a few bites. The wagyu skirt steak was overdone and drowned in an overwhelming pesto. Dessert choices included a delightful torta with almond, mascarpone, and candied citrus. We also had the honeycomb ice cream which was cloyingly sweet; I put down my spoon after one bite. Overall, the experience was…fine. But likely a one-and-done experience.

Arguably the best focaccia and whipped ricotta my life. Broccoli Caesar was also outstanding. We got the pappardelle which had thin handmade pasta with a hearty meat sauce. Definitely planning to come again and try the tortelli. Asparagus had a delicious smoky flavor and the clay beans were beyond expectations. Pistachio gelato is a MUST

I used to love this restaurant. Tonight we were told there was a limit to how much time we had to dine which we were told halfway through our main course. Everything was rushed clearing dishes so the next course could come quickly to rush us out the door. Food is great, service is great, but far too little time to enjoy a nice dinner we felt rushed and pressured to hurry after spending close to $700 for two of us. Beware dine at your own risk! There are many other fantastic options in LA that don’t make you feel like a criminal!

My daughter and I had the most enjoyable dinner at your place. Our first time and from the start to finish the food and service weee amazing. Mario was incredible and patient since we didn’t know what to get and everything he suggested was spot on. The other staff wa also super friendly and attentive. This will be our go to place for the best Italian food in Los Angeles.
