   Probably some of the most tasty food we’ve had in ages. Drinks were smooth and unique. Wine was exactly as described, serving sizes were about right for 3 people sharing (we did 3 starters, 2 mains and 1 dessert). Service was friendly, interested in us as persons and very knowledgeable about what was being served. We will be back for next special occasion in February!

   ANKOR Family we missed you! We shared another gastronomic experience! Everything dish served was heavenly and delicious. I cannot begin to explain all the flavours of the food, the delicious drinks and the service. 5 STAR all the way around. Gift yourself an evening at ANKOR, all your senses will be fulfilled.    Living in Calgary and having lived in “real” cities, Ankor is as close to big city excellence as you will find in Alberta. Food and service are above and beyond and what one would expect if they lived anywhere else in the world Forget thinking that the in places in Calgary are actually good and make the drive to Canmore for the best restaurant in Alberta

   We were celebrating our Anniversary, and wanted to do something special! Ankor delivered! From the moment we were greeted at the door to the end of the evening, the service, staff and food were fantastic! Highly recommend this restaurant - its a one of a kind!

   Outstanding experience! We had a very memorable experience here, we chose the chefs tasting menu. Everything was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Our server/hostess was so fun and knowledgeable and enhanced our experience! Amuse bouche - flavour bomb of duck on a tiny doughnut Salmon - very light with pickled fennel….very nordic very tasty, forgot the picture! Veal tartare - I love beef tartare and this was a delicate and light version with a to die for cheese foam. Foie gras - I could eat this all day, just go try it. Pork and scallop - best porkbelly I’ve ever had, scallop cooked perfectly! Duck - omg, star of the show! Beautiful beet accompaniments, breast cooked perfectly, confit so tender! Coffee and apple dessert - we chose one of each to enjoy. Both were light and the apple comes with a tiny scoop of butterscotch ice cream which was amazing! Everything was so expertly prepared, perfectly paced and absolutely divine, we can’t wait to come back! Cheers to the team at Ankor🥂
