   this was a cute little spot tucked away in an alley that had a speak easy feel to it...our server Camille or Camilla was super knowledgeable, attentive and great at what she does. the apps were amazing and i could not get enough caesar salad (order it twice). the steaks were good and thanks to the kitchen staff for cooking some medium rare and some medium. i would go back

   Everything about my experience was a 10/10 from the incredible food, cocktails and superior service, not only from my server Rebecca but the entire staff were all above and beyond. Definitely my new favourite steakhouse, but i’d also come back just for the cocktails alone as they were out of this world.

   I was very impressed with this restaurant. The food and service was excellent. Sacha and the team there really want there customers to have a great experience. I look forward going back again.

   Our food was incredible and the service from Kamilla was even better! So attentive and checked in on us the perfect amount. So impressed with the drinks as well! Would recommend over and over!

   I took my husband out to dinner for his birthday. He's a big steak guy and I had heard about Animal and wanted to try it. We started with the delicious Japanese milk bread. So yummy! Followed by the TAGLIATELLE AL RAGU. Then the 24oz PORTERHOUSE which was cooked exactly how we wanted it. It was so tender. We had Mac& Cheese and brocolini as sides. We had the Gold Bar for desert. Highly recommend it! Everything was so tasty and delicious and the service was amazing (Rebecca - thank you!) Highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to take our friends to it!

   Amazing place. Food was great and the service was even better. Will definitely be going back. Love the 70’s vibe. Definitely unique and no where else like it

   The service was immaculate. The restaurant is beautiful. However they do need to work on the menu,  especially if they would like to last in the competitive Toronto restaurant scene. Nothing special about the menu and nothing really stood out about the food either. I never really noticed portion sizes at most restaurants but I do remember them being small here. I would love to see this restaurant thrive but they do need a facelift on the food. Beautiful interior though I would only come back maybe for some cocktails. I also did let them know that it was my anniversary if they could do something about that I believe they forgot I was told that dessert would be sent out with happy anniversary written on it. We still ended up just purchasing one ourselves.

   Our first experience was highly disappointing. The $800 Tomahawk Wagyu steak, which we specifically requested to be cooked medium, had to be sent back twice as it was served completely undercooked and bloody. The only dish we truly enjoyed was the Caesar salad. One of the sides we ordered, asparagus, was poorly portioned—just six pieces for a table of five. To address the issue with the steak, the staff brought out a dessert without consulting us—a cherry cake that no one enjoyed. Additionally, the atmosphere felt off, with overpriced, poor-quality food and ’70s disco music that didn’t match the setting or enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was an unsatisfactory and overpriced meal.

    We had John Wick serve us wine, which was nice; and no one got shot throughout the night!
