   This was our first visit in 5 years; it has obviously got new owners because it has changed completely from memory. The staff are very welcoming and attentive, the food was excellent, and the value for the Supper Club night should encourage people to get out and enjoy this fare on offer.

   Been here many times previously. Unfortunately I’d forgotten that you are a dog friendly establishment. Evening dining with 5 dogs isn’t my ideal evening out. I except that this is the norm now, so in that case it’s our choice to where we spend our time in future. A restaurant perhaps next time.

   Great family meal- lovely food, lots of choice on an extensive menu, excellent service and great atmosphere. The dog menu was a really nice touch. This was our visit but we will definitely visit again.

   Super Pub with quality restaurant. Nice range of beers and wines by the glass plus more extensive bottle collection Great starters. Super. Main course. All in all great

   I found the table was a bit small for four and the staff seemed anxious to locate us to the very busy rear dining room. My fish and chips seemed a bit “corporate” meaning they didn’t seem prepared and cooked in the kitchen.

   The only thing I felt was wrong was that there was only one ladies toilet. I went with my husband and a couple of friends for a lunch time catch up. Ambience, service and quality of food was good and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

    Lovely, cosy pub…log fire on and happy staff. Food was delicious. My main was not available but the chef made me something bespoke and it was fab! Thank you!
