   We attended Sunday Brunch for $35 each. We started with Irish Coffee and Coffee Peppermint schnapps, $13, and $14 above the $35 charge. The Drinks were exceptional. We had the first course, and each chose Lobster Bisque. It was fantastic, although it could have been a little warmer. Our second course consisted of a Shrimp Cocktail for me and a parfait for my wife. My shrimp cocktails consisted of two shrimp on a small plate with cocktail sauce. A little disappointing although the shrimp was cooked well and very fresh. My wife enjoyed her parfait with no complaints. We both ordered steak and scrambled eggs. The steak came with a 6 oz aged sirloin, two strips of bacon, and country-style potatoes. This was very disappointing. The eggs were overcooked and dry. The potatoes were hard, unseasoned, and tasteless. I learned that the steak was supposed to be aged, which usually takes around 28 days, to make it tender. This was not the case, as it was very tough. Would we go back again? Probably for the ambiance and drinks. We would be willing to give the food a second chance but ala carte from the main lunch or dinner menu. Skip the brunch.

   From our arrival to departure, our visit to Anderson Reserve was a unique and enjoyable experience. It's not just a dining place: it's a place to soak in the views; converse with the staff; and tour the grounds. Enjoy the drive through the countryside, then select from an enticing gastronomic selection, and top off your visit with a walkabout the grounds. Refreshing and satisfying all around.

   Our evening at Anderson Reserve was amazing. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We had the salmon dinner and the seafood pasta dish. Both were wonderful. I'm sure we will be back again soon.

   Made reservation to include bday. Arrived, hostess asked who's bday. I pointed to friend. Seated, ordered quick. First two courses came out in decent time. Main course took over 30 min. Half the food was cold but we were starving so ate anyway. Server never refilled water or came back for another round of drinks. We tried to grab another server and she redirected to our original one. Overall, great atmosphere. Main course food was cold but overall still ok. Decent price but drinks were 1/2 the price of our total ticket. Will only do brunch. Dinner would be overpriced if service and food quality doesn't go up. Also nothing was said about bday, thought there might be an option for free dessert? Why include on reservation if no perk?

   Over cooked steak and augraten potatoes! Priced way to high for what we got! Disappointed for our 40th wedding anniversary!

   We went for an early dinner. Service was very pleasant if not a bit slow. My boyfriend ordered the prime rib which was the special and was described as being served medium rare. It arrived barely medium and definitely leaning towards medium-well. Nice tasting but definitely overdone. I ordered the beef Wellington and the waiter failed to ask how I wanted it prepared. It arrived completely well-done; the meat was gray throughout the portion without a shred of pink. I have made beef Wellington myself and was able to achieve a medium rare finish so I don’t understand why the chef is preparing this dish well-done. At $86 per serving it seems they could do better. Vegetables were tasty but cold upon arrival. Dessert was divine. We loved the atmosphere but will think twice before returning.

   My Husband and I took our Son there for his Birthday Lunch. This was the 3rd time we have gone there. The first time was great, second time the food was very unsatisfactory, but we thought that visit was just a fluke. However, number 3 visit was just as bad. The 3 different sandwiches were very over cooked, and very dry. The fries were not even real pototoes and the macoroni side was not as good as a grocery store brand. The desert was good, cheese cake. We will not be going there again, so disappointing.

    Great place to eat. Food was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. Tucked away in the gem county valley is awesome.
