A staple of the Park Cities Community, Amore' began with humble beginnings in 1983 with a vision to serve the community with the freshest quality ingredients, satisfying ambience, and the impeccable customer service expected by the thriving community. Owned and operated by local small business owners for the last 40 years, we are so proud of the traditions and welcoming staff.
We welcome you to visit our traditional Italian restaurant located at the north end of historic Snider Plaza - otherwise known as Downtown University Park - at the corner of Westminster and Snider Plaza. Order ahead and pick up hot meals to-go or call and arrange for take-and-bake options! The food was good, but I ordered lobster ravioli and it was not as pictured or described. It was supposed to be in a tomato basil soup with alfredo sauce also, but it came with 90% alfredo sauce and 10% marinara. The food temp was also not as hot as it should have been. I would definitely go back - it was busy with local diners and you could tell a favorite. I would give another menu item a try.

Food is good but not wonderful and menu is somewhat limited. Waiter was inattentive to my husband when taking drink orders. No tablecloths, flowers or candles on tables. Ceiling tile with unsightly brown water stain needs to be replaced. The Local app which they use is difficult to navigate and a coupon I was emailed from there had to be taken off by hand.

Amore Italian was a neighborhood gem. Quaint, friendly, delicious and great value. My lasagne was incredible. Elizabeth, our server, was respectful, kind and efficient.

We took along our friends who used to live in the area but moved away some years ago. They had never been to Amore, but they really enjoyed it and so did we! It’s an old favorite of ours.

Homey & comfortable in a shoulder-shoulder sort of way. A bit overpriced, but given the location, neighborhood clientele, and large portion sizes then possibly to be expected. I’d be fine with 1/2 the portion size at a 15% - 20% proportionally higher price. A large plate full of tasty fried calamari for $22 might be an appetizer for four people, but for two people it’s a meal in itself and we barely touched our equally oversized entrées. A 1/2 size order for $15 makes more sense in a 2-person scenario. It won’t keep me from coming back, I just wouldn’t order it again without a larger group. Which is a shame. .

There are two things I really like and appreciate about this restaurant- their martinis and their cannelloni. Service is always friendly and efficient. Easy parking, too!
