We have been here numerous times. The food was excellent as usual. We shared mussels and had the grouper and swordfish entrees. Good portions and well prepared.

Service was incredibly slow. It took at least 20 minutes to get a drink after we sat down. I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance and asked for a booth, but did not get one. The restaurant was very noisy. The bronzino was excellent, but I don't know if we'll go back. This was our 2nd time there and the service was slow both times.

Amfora is a lovely neighborhood restaurant. The food is delicious along with the Greek wine. I've never had a bad experience. The Mezze Grande should not be missed. Service was a bit slow, but i never felt forgotten. Go to this gem of a restaurant in Coconut Point.

Had a very good meal at Amphora for nine people. Service and food was great; prompt and friendly. No issues at all; will be going again.

I’m sorry to say we were very disappointed with our experience . I wanted a nice place to celebrate my mom’s 90th , and the ratings were good so I thought this a good choice . Ended up it was not . It took 25 minutes before we got any real attention. It was 30 minutes until bread was served . The restaurant was understaffed and the service slow , very slow . The meals were just ok, the vegetables were cold and the filet tough. And to top it off an automatic 20% gratuity added to a party of 5? It was as if they knew the service was sub standard but wanted to get a gratuity reserved for good service . Funny thing is I normally leave a 25% for good service , but in this case would have left 15% understanding this is how the wait staff is compensated . This place needs to get its act together .

Everything was great! We were celebrating a friends birthday and it was fun. They also surprised us with a shot of Sambuca and a dessert! Food and service ~ fantastic !
