Delicious and original. The chef’s access to fish from the Tokyo fish market, and the inventive options for the fish preparation, makes for an outstanding dining experience in a casual and fun setting.

Delicious small portions extremely over priced. The waiter pushed their whole fish choices without explaining one from the other, in spite of the fact that they ranged in price from $140 to $400. There should be some explanation or passion why one is better or at least different than the other. All he could tell me is that they were all mild white fish. I ordered the $140 one and it was delicious but I don’t know why it was $140. I think they are full of themselves. The scallops appetizer was delicious as well as the salmon. I have been to many Michelin starred restaurants and appreciate the high prices that go with the effort, but this one felt like a rip off and worse, I left hungry. All delicious though.

What an AMAZING meal! Hands down one of the best places to eat in DC. From the appetizers to the desert, the food was top shelf.

Last year we went to Causa for our 5th year anniversary so this year we went upstairs for our 6th year anniversary. What an experience! Excellent service, food was tremendously presented and tasted so good. We will be back. Shoutout Chef Carlos!

Wow! Just wow! The whole fish service is fantastic! They give you a list of not just the types of fish they have, but the individual fish and how much it weighs. Then they will cook that fish in several ways. Cold preparations like sashimi ceviche and tiradito, and many hot preps. We were just 2 people, so we had a small sea robin and they made ceviche and tiradito. They drinks are sublime. You must visit this place of thought like fish!!
