   We had a wonderful dinner. However, we began talking to our neighbors at the next table over who were celebrating their 1 year wedding anniversary. Before we left I covertly asked the waiter to bring me a check for a round of their drinks so they had a fun surprise at the end of their meal. Well, we ended up meeting the couple at a bar later in the evening and they had NO IDEA we had paid for their 1st round at Amada. The waiter said he comped it because it was their anniversary. I find this very off putting as the waiter or kitchen had also messed up their paella order and it had to be remade. He used my kindness to make that couples night to his advantage to get a better tip. Love Amada - hate that behavior. Makes me sad but glad we reconnected with the couple so they knew who it was really from.

   Every dish was a masterpiece. To start, we had the bacon wrapped dates (my server insisted that I'd love them although I'm not a dates fan), which was a perfect balance of flavors and textures. They were incredibly delicious. TheLolly Pop Lamb Chops was the highlight of the meal—cooked to perfection, with each bite better than the last. The flavors were bold and fresh, showcasing the chef's commitment to quality ingredients and expert preparation. We had a recommended Spanish wine that was also incredible. The service was attentive and also terrific. Great dining experience at Amada. BTW, I've been there before and insist that lamb lolly pops are best in Philly

   The food was excellent, which it always is at Garces restaurants, but the service was above and beyond this visit. My waiter, Alex, was very helpful with making decisions on what to eat and drink, he was very knowledgeable of the menu, and steered us in the right direction every time. Highly suggest the lamb turnovers and the squid ink paella, they were absolute highlights of the evening. And if you like mushrooms, the mushrooms were almost played a starring role even alongside all those meats and seafood.

   The host was incredible, they were so thoughtful and made sure our special request came true. We have a menu to frame for our dining room wall. The servers were delightful and our food and drinks were delicious. Thank you for a wonderful brunch experience.

   It was great Overall. Rez was for 8:30 and didn’t get seated till 9:15 or so. Only complaint.

   Seated 45 minutes after reservation was made and needed to take the last course of our food to go as we had to go to a show. Food and drinks were good. It was a little loud but fine though we felt pressured after a while as service was a little slow and were seated late. Still worth it.

   My wife and I enjoyed a relaxing brunch with amazing tapas and large plate breakfast entrees. We asked to move to a bar side high top to have a more intimate setting and the hostess happily accommodated our request.
