   Idk how this place is rated so highly. Servers were kind and decor was pretty but this was truly one of the worst meals I have eaten in my life. Artichoke tempura was a greasy and heavy mess, the scallops were cold and the accompanying veg was bland, hangar steak was over charred and just terrible taste. Our meal was so bad, I didn’t even bother sending scallops back to be reheated. We came here to celebrate a personal milestone and it was just dreadful. There are so many great places to eat in NYC, don’t make the mistake of going here.

   This is a great spot if you're looking for a quiet restaurant, which can be hard to find in NYC. The service was friendly and attentive. However, aside from the pumpkin dinner roll, the food was mediocre at best. The radicchio salad was overly salty, as were my friend’s ravioli and my hanger steak. She could barely eat her pasta, and the chimichurri sauce on my steak was both salty and bland. It's a shame because the space itself is lovely.

   Best cocktails in NYC! And the food was delicious. I wouldn’t do the prefix theater package next time because we like the full menu better but it was an absolutely unforgettable meal and drink experience.

   This wasn’t a meal, it was an experience! Loved everything about it, from the ambience/decor, to the personable, professional waitstaff, to the artistically plated, delicious food, to the photogenic and inventive cocktails. I would give 6 stars if I could. I will definitely make a repeat appearance.

   I found this place browsing open table and it was a top pick 5 stars (sponsored obviously). The place is it a mid range hotel and the food service and place is low tier. The service was a mess. Nothing was outstanding but food was decent. Prices were high. I would not recommend this place and i won’t be using any more open table recommendations. They lost my trust!

   It was my first time at Altair. My wife and I went there for dinner for her birthday. It was breathtaking. The staff was so hospitable, friendly and professional. From the entrance to the dining room, absolutely beautiful service and I love the ambience of the place. I will definitely visit again and tell my friends and family to dine here. Also the food is tasty! Take a bow Altair, great gem of a restaurant 🙌🙏
