Primarily serving as a bespoke tapas bar, Alcatraz, or 'Traz for short, features live music, fresh DJs, and a hub for artistic culture.

Stop by for inspired tapas and cocktails, future beats, or a chat with our welcoming, close-knit team. You're welcome to make a booking, or "Save a Table" on our live entertainment Fridays, just note that all service is at the bar!

We're open from 5pm 'til late Wednesday to Sunday (starting October 30) & kitchen opens at 6pm.

Save a table for you and your friends to chill, chat and dine before the entertainment. Rock up, grab a menu, and order at the bar when you're ready! T&Cs: • We'll hold reserved tables for up to 15 minutes after the booking time. • Entry is free from 6-8pm. • Max booking size is 12 guests. For enquiries on large group bookings, contact bookings@alcatrasydney.com.au. • For groups of 6-12 guests, cancellation within 48 hours of the booking time incurs an $50 cancellation fee.

Such a cool vibe! The best thing about the venue is the service. All staff were fantastic. We loved the food and music too.

Alcatraz on a Thursday night has to be one of the most amazing events to run in sydney during the week. The music, the energy, the vibes is absolutely incredible. I have consistently been attending the event for the last few months and I have enjoyed each week more and more. I cannot reccomend this venue and this event more! Looking forward to seeing new faces and new talents over the coming weeks. #sultry&Sample #Alcatraz

This was our first visit to Alcatraz, a little gem 5 minutes from home. From start to finish, the service was friendly and attentive. The food we chose was amazing, highly reccommend the scallops. We will definitely be back

It was our first time at Alcatraz and we loved it! You are welcome by warm smiles as soon as you walk in and the food was delicious! Lots of South American themed cocktails to match. The live music was out of this world, you could dance all night!

As locals to the pub, we hd been waiting for it to open, and it was definitely NOT a disappointment. Welcoming yet simple industrial style interior design, delicious tapas plates & cocktails and what an ambience! I had not been around such friendly crowd and business owners in a long while. Congrats and let's keep the party going!
