   Service was amazing and we asked to switch tables and it was accommodated so easily and staff was great!

   We have for years alternated steakhouses, between Al’s, Steve Fields and Texas in Richardson. All are excellent. We chose Al’s for New Year’s Eve and it was a big disappointment. Steaks were warm at best, potatoe was warm and tough like it had been sitting in a warmer for hours. Salads were fair. A $400 dinner should be way better. It will be a while before we try again. Steve Fields is a lot better. Steaks are always sizzling, potatoes are hot and fluffy and the service is killer. A much better experience.

   The food and our server was good, but where they sat us at was awful. To have the staff passing by every 5 seconds putting in orders was a nuisance (not to mention one of the guys coughing/throat clearing loudly was gross) That was my fault for not asking to sit elsewhere. Next time I’m not holding back!

   Al Biernat’s continues to be one of our favorite places to come for the holidays! And this is year #3 of us coming specifically for NYE. They do such a good job decorating the restaurant and we look forward to the meal all year!

   Love Al Biernat’s. Always a great experience. Food is excellent - try the lamb chops! Service is the best - thank you Danny and Griff for running the best bar in town and taking great care of us. This is our happy place.

    We were there for New Year's Eve, so weren't sure what to expect. It was packed! But our server, Glenn, made us feel like we were his only table. He was exceptional and every one of his recommendations was bang on. One of us had the champaign lobster bisque, the other had the roasted pear salad. Both were delicious. We both had tenderloins, one kona crusted with the blueberry chipotle sauce, the other black peppercorn crusted. Both were cooked correctly--a surprise given how busy the restaurant was and the fact that one was requested "rare plus"-- and were also delicious! We had the lobster risotto and the green beans for sides. Everything came out hot, the risotto was steaming. Again, a pleasant surprise given how busy the restaurant was! The lobster risotto is phenomenal! Don't waste your time on potatoes. For dessert, we spilt the peanut butter banana cream pie with butterfinger gelato. Wow! Rich. Decadent. Flavorful. Perfect for sharing. Fortunately, we each ordered an espresso to go with it. A great pairing. Finished off with a single malt scotch and a tawny port, we were ready for our New Year's Eve party!! Our server said they put in extra tables for the night, but our didn't feel "packed", just lively. Not even as crowded as some other steak houses feel on regular occasions. One of us had been here in business, it was the first time for the other. We will definitely be back! This has zoomed to the top of our list of steakhouses! (And we even noted they had a few truly respectable vegan options on the menu.) Great night. Great restaurant.
