   My girlfriend and I went to Akira Back for a date night. Service was superb as we were seated directly when we arrived and had a friendly waitress who was honest about the best dishes on the menu. The food was delicious. We will be returning next time we are in Delray!

   We are not big sushi eaters but heard such great things about Akira Back we went with our kids and grandkids. After looking over the menu thinking there really wasn’t anything for us, we explained what we like to our server and he patiently explained the entire menu and suggested items for us to try. I have to say this was one of the best meals we’ve eaten in a long time! Everything we tried was outstanding and we kept looking at each other in disbelief at how fabulous it all was! I made notes of what we ordered for the next time we go, because there definitely will be a next time! 10/10 for sure.

   Fantastic New Year’s Eve at Akira Back. Wonderful service and great food - champagne and great DJ at the rooftop bar after. So much fun!

   The food at Akira Back is fantastic and the service is great. Lang, our server, did a wonderful job and the manager Michael was a pleasure to speak with. Akira is absolutely a must try for anyone in the Delray area.

   Food was really amazing. Went for NYE, which had a $300 minimum per person, so had to eat a lot! Can’t complain at all about the food.

   This was our favorite dinner during our stay in Delray. The food was off the charts and the service beyond amazing! Such a great fun vibe. Would absolutely recommend and will be back when we are in the area!

   Two hours before our seating, we got a phone call canceling our reservation because their outdoor section has no weather protection. This is not disclosed when you book the reservation. After much back and forth, they offered to seat us at the bar instead. Then when we got there, the restaurant was half empty and we sat at a table. What an off-putting experience.

   This is a wonderful restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is fantastic. The only downside is it’s a bit pricey and the portions are on the smaller side. We couldn’t stop ordering because the food was so so good. No regrets. A must visit.

   Definitely worth the splurge... every bite was more delicious than the one before. Plus they were able to accommodate a tricky food sensitivity! The service was impeccable.

    An exceptional birthday experience! Our server Anthony was top notch! Great food- colossal tiger prawns out of this world as were the scallops, tuna pizza, crab fried rice, spinach salad and halibut. Dessert over the top as well! The cigar box and how it is presented is delicious and unique! Mochi and apple churro too! Looking forward to returning soon!
