   Food took awhile to come out, but when it did everything was very charred to extent of brunt. I understand that it is cook on an open grill/fire, but there is a certain extent of char. Example Shrimp was overcooked and burnt along with the sword fish. I asked for a new swordfish and it was undercook, I understand chef didn’t want to burn it again, but it left a fishy taste in my mouth and ruined the entire course.

   waiter was super pushy, pushing champagne, extra items on the menu, dessert etc...I know he needs to sell but it was not relaxing, also, this was a bday party, he said happy birthday every time he came to the table, I wish I had not said it was my sisters bday at all, it was super annoying.

   We went for restaurant week. The food was very good, the service from the waiter was good but the kitchen was so so slow. We waited far too long in between each course, it tainted the experience. The Brussels salad, the acorn squash, the ribeye, and the bolognese are all very good. I’d skip the shrimp and the green salad.

   I had reservations as this is Restaurant week and the place wasn't very full for 6:30p. The greeting was great but that was pretty much it. My server asked if I wanted water but never asked if I wanted anything else to drink. When I asked for a suggestion she asked what I was in the mood for. Answering a question with another question?? I couldn't get anything other than "everything is good" but that not what I was inquiring about and it turned out wasn't true. My French onion soup was ok, hot and had decent flavor, but not much cheese(?). The shrimp second course wasn't that exciting. Main entrée was a wagyu beef pasta which I would have sent back as not good, but I was running out of time. When the server checked on me, she didn't even listen to the issue. I can't justify going back.

   Everything on the menu was so good looking! We came for restaurant week and loved the menu variety and the serving sizes were perfect. I don’t drink and hate sweet mocktails but loved their options and how good they were. Will be back for sure

   Opening night of Denver Restaurant Week. 5:30 p.m. Table of four(4) reservation. Helpful front desk greeting and enjoyed a table by the window. $55 menu and bottle of wine experience. Consistently solid service and menu. We'll be back!

   Server pushy. Asked or “suggested” three times for us to order more mains, and when we said no, she asked us to double one of the appetizers. Very pushy.

   The squash tart appetizer was flavorful and unique. The duck entrée was cooked perfectly but was lacking some seasoning and the dish needed some sort of sauce, chive garlic aioli or something to tie the duck to the vegetable side. The dish seemed incomplete. I wish I ordered the Swordfish entrée was very flavorful and complete. It had a delicious sauce and topping to the fish and a vegetable. Normally not a white chocolate fan but their white chocolate cheesecake was tasty. Their cocktails were yummy as well.

    Excellent food right Bal’s the restaurant in Aspen, great service def be back. Parking sucks so just plan ahead
