The best Mexican food I’ve tasted. On the pricey side. The restaurant was packed and very noisy. The service was great. This was our 4th time.

Nice decor and ambiance. Great location in West Annapolis. Not too crowded so the noise was manageable, but I can see how it would be quite loud with a full house. Service was very good and attentive. I asked for a sipping tequila with a single ice ball and got a very skimpy pour over a single ice cube, the kind you’d get from an ice machine. Food was average. Daughter had the vegetable fajita and they forgot a couple of sides. I had the enchiladas mole, and I didn’t think the mole was very good or authentic. Not bad, but not remarkable either.

The food is excessively salty and spicy. Why put spice on tortilla chips? Particularly if they are house made as implicated. And then the salt? Then there was no flavor to the beans or rice, but uncomfortable heat to the shrimp. I am gluten free so it was one of the few things I could safely eat and it was a big disappointment. For dessert the pot de creme was ok, particularly the topping but the chocolate was quite grainy in texture vs smooth. The margarita was just ok, but guacamole was pretty good.

Great cocktails - Paloma and margarita - and appetizers - empanadas and guac sampler - but our entrees left some to be desired - more protein portions and seasoning on the black beans.

Lots of gluten-free options, however, some were misleading. I thought the burrito being marked as gluten-free modifiable meant I'd get a burrito in a gluten-free tortilla, not as a burrito bowl. So my hopes were let down a little. However, I ordered the fish tacos on corn tortillas and those were delicious. I wasn't a fan of the Mexican rice they served, though. The chips were really addicting and the regular guacamole was tasty. At first we ordered the pine nut and feta one and asked for the cheese on the side–the waiter said it's not mixed in, but when the guacamole arrived, it had the cheese mixed in. He swapped it out for us. The mocktail I had was refreshing and the horchata ice cream was yummy. I also tried some of the grilled shrimp dish and that was succulent and flavorful. Corn soup was creamy and delicious too. Restaurant was very loud and it was hard to have conversations with my family at the table. The interior is nice though and staff was friendly.

Wow. My first time and was not disappointed. Anything with the beef is very tender. Er had surf and turf burrito and steak quesadilla. Just bite right thru!

The setting is attractive but noisy and pricey for Mexican food.

Overall this restaurant has changed..it was not full at all on a Saturday! It was good the margaritas were good but when asking for a credit card to confirm reservations and number of people when you’re empty and many open tables at 6.30pm on a Saturday seems a bit interesting. Will try again but not my go to for Mexican food.

After having had three prior experiences of bland food, we gave it another try after hearing good reviews. We were not disappointed! The salsa and queso is consistently great but the burrito had stepped it up! There was a good mix of rice, beans and steak but more importantly there was a delicious spicy sauce. It was great. The fajitas were over the top delicious…..lots of steak and shrimp with flavorful roasted vegetables. We are definitely planning on coming back.
