The food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. There was a pianist playing contemporary classics that really added to the ambiance. The had a very large selection of teas. They had tradional afternoon tea food, but enhanced it with apple cinnamon scones and chocolate ganache. The scones were a stand-out (soft, moist, and fluffy). The Winter Garden was beautiful with the glass roof and classic building architecture. It was all well worth the price.

Overall Experience: The ambiance was lovely, and everything looked beautiful, making for a nice experience overall. Service: The service was good but had room for improvement. Some waiters were very friendly and attentive, but the two who brought our sandwiches and cakes were polite yet not very engaging—perhaps they were new. Thankfully, Alejandro, the main waiter for our table, was excellent and ensured we were well taken care of. Food: The food was average and lacked a "wow" factor. The sandwiches were something I could easily recreate at home or find in a local café, and the cakes were nothing extraordinary. Compared to afternoon tea offerings at other high-end hotels, I’d encourage the chef to bring more excitement and creativity to the menu.

The whole experience was really lovely and felt like a proper treat. All the people who served us were so welcoming and attentive throughout the afternoon. The Winter Garden is such a pleasant environment to be in. The Afternoon Tea was mostly delicious. I have several intolerances which they were able to accommodate. I particularly appreciated that I had cakes that looked and tasted as good as the regular ones. The bread on my sandwiches however was very crumbly and hard. The only improvement I can suggest is changing the bread, but I appreciate they were dealing with my intolerances.

One of the best afternoon tea experiences we’ve had in London. The High Palms Tea Room is a really comfortable specious venue. The staff were attentive and friendly, keeping our plates topped up with sandwiches and our tea pots full. The food was excellent, we had a good range of sandwich fillings, moist scones and a delicious cake selection. If you like a traditional afternoon tea on a crisp table cloth, with fine bone china and cake stands then this is the perfect place to go.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Food was very nice with free sandwiches refills. Very good selection of teas. The cucumber sandwich was the only disappointing part as was quite basic and not very festive.
