    Paying homage to Oakland history-about 100 years ago there was a lounge and club called the VARSITY LOUNGE located in our same location, who knew! In digging up old Oakland memorabilia, we found an old menu. To our surprise-they were well known for two things the Varsity Martini and Conga Lines!! While we aren’t ready for a conga, we are ready for the Varsity Martini and other drink specials. Come join us every day in our downstairs café, and our upstairs bar Monday through Saturday.

    We had the best experience at Acre! The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. The GM Calvin was the best in the business and made our dinner so special. Highly recommend Acre to anyone looking for a lovely night out with delicious food and a cozy, yet trendy ambiance!

    Just appalling service. A crowd with reservations waiting to be seated and greeter would disappear for 5-10 minutes at a time. When finally seated, very good drinks and wood oven chicken.

    AMAZING food. The pizza and the ribeye were delicious! We bought the Olive Oil as well and we LOVE IT. Great service and loved the vibe of the place

    Went here for my belated birthday dinner with my family. I was given a gift card. I cannot say enough about food. Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious. We sat upstairs and that was a nice setting. I loved it that others around us we also having a good time. That is what this pace offered, a place to have a good time. We will come again.

    Delish. Waited 40 min for our 7:15 Resy but staff very apologetic. Table was freezing but quickly staff turned off air conditioning!

    Every time we eat at this restaurant, the food is wonderful. The service is attentive and the ambience is pleasant. We had dinner with long time friends that we haven’t seen in a while and we had a lovely table by the window where we could easily talk since we like to taste a lot of things we had the french fries which are delicious and a special which was a mini crab tostada, which was also yummy we shared the hummus and the pizza and the crème brûlée for dessert. I don’t have anything to say except make a reservation this place rocks!

    The wine list was disappointing. The wines were very expensive. The cheapest bottle was over $60 and the wine by the glass was too expensive. The waiter also tried to upsell us at every step. I felt like we were being hustled to spend more. As it was we spent about $100 per person.
