Delicious food and great service. The menu we ate from was the spring 2025 menu. My husband had the wangus steak which was perfectly seasoned and prepared. I had the duck pasta, the duck was flavorful and moist and the pasta tasted very fresh. Great service even in a busy night.

The food was terrific, the drinks were great, and the location is lovely. I would have given it 5 stars, but the waiter's ignorant response to the "Where are you from?" question left such a sour taste for me that it almost ruined the meal. The rest of this review is really a heads-up for any locals/northern New Mexicans who are looking for an elevated food experience in the Taos area. You probably won't feel welcome here. It claims to be a locally owned restaurant, so the waiter's asinine response to hearing that I'm from Espanola was especially hurtful. This wasn't the first time a complete stranger has made a crass joke or repeated a stupid stereotype about the valley and I doubt it will be the last as long as bigotry and classism remain all the rage. In sum, diners, if you say you're from anywhere other than rural New Mexico, I'm sure you will be treated very well and get some sort of breathless, sycophantic thank you for choosing Aceq. For everyone else, try somewhere else.

Amanda was very welcoming, as were her colleagues. Young, friendly team with a surprising menu. Kind of quirky but in a very pleasant way. A little over seasoned if anything, overpowering the subtle taste of the main ingredient. We are very happy to have dined there

Food was excellent and has improved significantly over time. Service was friendly and reliable. I wish the ambiance was a bit more romantic — but it’s satisfactory. We will likely make ACEQ a regular stop❤️

Always a great experience, and we weren’t disappointed even with a full house. Some of appetizers were not up to their usual quality but we think that they had a supply source problem this week. The specials were outstanding but could easily be shared

We were greater and seated at a long table made from a single log. It was narrow enough that conversation was easy. They had unique and tasty cocktails. The menu was very excellent. We had Caesar’s, a mushroom that was like a crab cake. For entrees a special wangus Korean bbq tacos. All was seasoned with complimentary flavoring. Well worth the drive to the little arroyo. The art was interesting too.

Creative menu, great flavors, fresh greens. Noise is the biggest issue. Difficult to have conversation. It’s better in the summer with windows open to disperse the noise. Will return, if only for the food.
