    97 West Kitchen and Bar features three private dining rooms, offering a delicious variety of elevated Texas cuisines. Our largest private dining room seats up to 54 guests while the other two accommodate up to 10 guests each. All of our private dining rooms offer a rustic-luxe ambience perfect for any celebration, event or special occasion. Additionally, 97 West Kitchen and Bar offers two unique Chef’s Table experiences, complete with fully customizable menus and beverage pairings. Our indoor Chef’s Table option seats up to 12 guests at a custom-made table in direct view of the exhibition kitchen, which allows for one-on-one interactions with Chef Grant. The outdoor Chef’s Table option seats up to 14 guests and is located along Marine Creek under a beautiful pergola and crystal chandelier, surrounded by lush greenery and our herb garden.

Parties of 6 or more are subject to a 20% service fee.  Cancellations made 72 hours prior to reservation time will result in a cancellation fee of $50 per person.                                                                     We visited 97 West in Hotel Drover for breakfast and were blown away by the atmosphere. The decor is spectacular. Everything is well thought-out and curated, creating a perfect and inviting vibe. We ordered The Ranch Hand for breakfast, and I opted to build my own plate due to dietary restrictions. I had chicken sausage, a side of avocado, and potatoes. The potatoes were delicious, though I suspect they may be cooked in seed oils—it wasn’t entirely clear when I asked. One downside was the price—$10 for a single chicken sausage felt a bit steep. The Ranch Hand was $20, but it was a generous portion and very tasty, so we felt the value was better there. That said, the service didn’t quite meet our expectations. We mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary, but nothing was acknowledged, and our server was noticeably slow and delayed in assisting us throughout the meal. Overall, we’re open to returning to try lunch or dinner, as the ambiance and food were solid, but our experience fell a bit short, especially for a special occasion.

                                                                    Went on a busy Saturday night with reservations. Got there early and were seated promptly. Our waitress was busy, but attentive. Ordered a Cesar salad, and it was really good. Had large long leaves that had to be cut. On the servers recommendation I went with the 14oz ribeye cooked medium rare over the prime rib. The steak was seasoned very well, but extremely thin. It was less than 1/2 inch. Somehow they managed a pretty close medium rare, with some medium parts. All said it was pretty good. Just expected a little thicker steak. It wasn’t very large, so I, guessing it was only about 10oz uncooked. So that was slightly disappointing.

                                                                    Everything was amazing except the steak. Medium-rare was medium- well and and gristly but taste was still good so I ate around it all. Service was amazing.

                                                                    Beautiful hotel and the 97 West Kitchen and Bar is exceptional. We enjoyed the cattle drive with our kids and then walked around the shops of the stockyards before dinner. We got to 97W a little before and just relaxed around the bar and courtyard. It was beautiful and a sight to see. Dinner was great and the kids were satisfied with the childrens menu. Food and Service was great!
