We enjoyed our experience here so much! We had appetizers and dinner before the concert at the Riley Center across the street. Mary welcomed us and took such good care of our table! Thank you, Mary!

Food and atmosphere was excellent. Waitress was extremely nice. But they were short of staff, so it took a while for our order. Her friendliness made up for the deficit.

My wife and I ate at 601 Local for the first time Friday, February the 14th. I went to the website to make reservations. While on the website, I noticed the dress code was "smart casual", however there were people wearing ripped jeans, shorts and t-shirts.... That's perfectly fine, but not what I expected at what I thought was a nice restaurant. Our appetizer was a dish with I believe fried shrimp or crawfish tails, and fried slices of jalapeno. It was a touch on the greasy side, but good nevertheless. Fighting the urge to order the "swanky shrimp", I ordered the ribeye, rare with the roasted potatoes and green beans. My wife had the Steak Dianne, which was a new york strip. When they brought my "rib eye" out, It was surprisingly large in diameter, and not at all shaped like any ribeye I've ever seen. But what un impressed me the most, was that it was so thin. 1/2" thick at the most. It looked like something you would get at "steak night at the Piggly Wiggly" for $10. I figured it would be as tough as boot leather. When I cut into it, it was cooked perfectly rare, which is very hard to do on a steak that thin. The taste was good, and it was surprisingly tender. The potatoes were, well... potatoes, and the green beans were fine, just needed salt. My wife's new york strip was what you expect a new york strip to look like. It was a little more than 1" thick, cooked perfectly medium like she ordered it. It tasted good, and was tender for a new york strip. For breakfast, I had the Three Foot Pancakes, Sausage, and fried potatoes. My wife, had the spicy fried chicken biscuit. The pancakes weren't good. Thin, bitter... like from a Dollar General brand box or something . Sausage and fried potatoes were good. The spicy fried chicken biscuit was actually 2 biscuits with large fried chicken breast on them. They had a good flavor, and were not too spicy. I would say the chef is very good, but is working with such a tight budget that they are having to use cheap products.

Service alone was worth the price we paid for dinner, the food was absolutely fantastic, everything was made exactly how we wanted, and it's hard to explain but even the diet coke tasted expensive, me and my girlfriend had an amazing time!!

Friday night and restaurant was almost dead. In fact, we were seated in the bar because there were no diners in the dining room. Food was basic at best and service was definitely lacking. Zero ambience – restaurant is just off the hotel lobby (which was also lacking…).

Staff members are so negative and bartender kept saying she’s not paid enough to work harder. Hostess never acknowledged us or gave us menus. Walk across the street and eat at Harvest as we did

This is a very nice Hotel stay at. The bed was very comfortable and hotel was clean as well. Parking in the front when you first arrive was not that great. Restaurants around the area was great. The restaurant downstairs in the hotel was a bit unorganized and the roof top was okay to many people and to small. Overall I would come back to stay.

Nothing special, nothing really stood out at the price point they're asking.

The food was amazing- love the Queen City Classic! Service was attentive! My only complaint was that they didn’t have our reservation. This was the second time I’ve made a reservation here, only to get there and find they had no idea. Both were during hotel stays at the Threefoot which was disheartening. This time they accommodated and seated us anyway, but there definitely is a lack of communication somewhere between reservations and the front desk. I would recommend calling to confirm reservations the day before.

The drinks were great. The menu seemed small but what we had was tasty. The service was fabulous, but it was very warm in the restaurant. Beautiful place to visit.
