   The restaurant was not busy, but the service was very slow. The server lacked personality. The food was very salty, which is something I have heard from other people as well. It was also not really served hot. Food waited in the kitchen under the warmer for a long time before the servers were attentive to bringing it out. I was seated where I could actually see the kitchen and I could see our food waiting to be picked up. I had looked forward to dining here, and was really disappointed that the experience was not better.

   We had a reservation for 1pm. We needed to add one person to the reservation and the hostess was great about that. However, we were not seated until 2:00. We placed our orders quickly and our food did not arrive until 3:30. After fulfilling our drink orders, the waitress did not return to our table until food arrived. No refills or anything. When my friend asked to speak to the manager, the waitress replied “for what?” She returned to offer one person at the table a 15% discount, but did not offer to let her share the experience with the manager. Eventually, the manager came over with the waitress and my friend shared about the lengthy wait and the lack of service. We were told, “well it’s really busy in here on Saturdays and Sundays,” as though it was our fault for wanting to eat out on the weekend. If you know it’s busy, shouldn’t the restaurant make adjustments to handle the business? Food was good, but not worth waiting 2.5 hours for. And the service was worse. On top of that, gratuity was built in the check. I had no intention of tipping a waitress who didn’t pay any attention to the table, but instead I had to tip 20%. Reservations don’t matter here, and apparently, neither do the customers. However, the young man who was running our food was extremely kind and helpful.

   Amazing food, great atmosphere, lots of fun. But this restaurant cannot handle a big crowd. For a two-person table, it took us over two hours to eat and leave. Be prepared to sit around and wait most of the time you’re there.

   Long wait time, cold food. A friend and I went on a Saturday for brunch. I anticipated having to wait a while for food because my mother had gone to this restaurant previously and warned me about brunch being a busy time. That’s to be expected anyway. My friend and I were seated. 40+ minutes go buy. Both tables on either side of us were served. No server ever came to our table about drinks or ordering food. We asked a waitress walking by if we could order. After ordering, about an hour had passed and we were close to leaving. Both plates of food were cold. The waitress we had was kind to us, but overall I don’t think I’d return to this restaurant.

   Our server was phenomenal, as he was the host, bartender and ONLY server due to multiple team members calling in sick. Our food came out before our drinks, which he was very apologetic and gave us a little extra vodka in our Bloody Mary’s 😉 The Bloody Mary mix packs a nice punch with the spices and it’s garnished with housemade spicy sweet pickles, celery and olives. The food is top notch. The scrambled eggs were fluffy, potatoes were seasoned well, the French toast was to die for. My husband got the hash with a grits base and he said it was the best breakfast bowl he’s ever had. I was looking around at other patrons meals and the couple sitting next to us got the fried catfish. It looked delicious and I will definitely have to try I next time we go. Please take a sweater/hoodie if you go during the colder months. It’s an old bank with huge windows and is drafty. Everything is cooked fresh to order so don’t go if you’re in a hurry. It’s well worth the wait!

   It took almost an hour to get drinks. The staff were in some sort of argument and so food took forever. I think we saw our waitress twice.

    Good breakfast food with southern touch. Hattiesburg’s Hash was tasty and filling. Service was attentive and friendly. Only negative is noise with tile floors and high ceilings made things loud and difficult to carry on conversations. I would go back for a breakfast again.
