   The restaurant had a nice view and the people were friendly. The apple bread pudding dessert was delicious! We will definitely go back.

   I was on vacation in Waktins Glen, and didn’t have any restaurant recommendations. I looked on open table and the reviews were good, so I figured we would try it. It’s a small, quirky place that is probably a good restaurant to go to in the summer, because it overlooks Seneca Lake. The inside is nothing fancy. The server was nice and friendly. The food was good. I would recommend it

   Chicken Parm sandwich and steak panini were wonderful. Unfortunately our steak fries were cold. We loved the bombshell cider offerings. We’ll be back!

   This restaurant was highly recommended. Unfortunately, it was a bad night. They were slammed, but totally short staffed as there was no bartender and a number of staff were no shows. We had to wait one hour for our food to arrive. When it did, it was good, but by that time, we were fed up. Other patrons waited even longer. If waitress had told us there was a problem when we ordered, we would have understood. But she didn't. Only when we paid our check was there a half-hearted apology. Not the experience we had expected.

We thought we had tried to set the expectation that we were running behind but did not adequately do so.    I had a wonderful dinner sitting on their back patio looking out over the lake. I always enjoy my experience here. Consistently great food and service.

    Our meals were “good”. Had salmon and scallops. Salmon had a bit of a fishy taste. Scallops were good. The sauce put on them (not on the side) was a bit spicy. Biggest disappointment was the wine. While it was good, the pour was about 3 oz.
