   Food was pretty solid, service was pretty inattentive. They didn't ignore us, but we were looking for service more than not. Food was a 7.5/10. They ignored our "birthday" notice (web site booking) and it was awkward when we were presented with a check without a mention. How do we make recognition of our colleagues bday without making him feel uncomfortable when we let them know in advance????

   It was not busy, didn’t need to have a reservation on a Monday night. We both got unimpressive salads, I was disappointed with the mango vinaigrette, tasted like my lettuce was just tossed in oil. The house margaritas were fine, small for the price.

   The food I ordered lacked flavor, it was so bland for a Mexican restaurant. I did have the jalepeno cilantro margarita and it was not spicy but it was good.

   We were disappointed. The food all looked the same, even though we ordered different entrees. Rice was dry, chicken was not good quality as it was tough and rubbery. The margaritas were watery. They could not figure out where to seat us, even though we had a reservation and the place was half empty. They almost seemed ready to turn us away, like a table for 5 was beyond comprehension. First, they wanted to put us at a small table for 4, and then we were shown a table for 10. We asked if there was anything else and we were brought to another, slightly larger table for 4, and they said they would add a chair. As we were about to sit, we saw that the table next to it, for 6, was clean and we sat ourselves there and no one noticed. It was bizarre. We would not return.

   I had eaten at 3 margaritas Downtown Denver with a friend before, and had a very good experience. We were craving Mexican food and margaritas, and so I wanted to revisit this restaurant other time. The service was extremely friendly, the food came out in a timely manner, and the food was delicious! Definitely an ideal restaurant to fulfill your Mexican food cravings! The Cadillac margarita was perfect!
