Live jazz and blues music sets the ambiance as you dine from our seasonal modern European A La Carte menu which is served until 1am. Nice venue and fun atmosphere with intermittent cool jazz Melodie’s caressing the airwaves. However if you’re looking to eat here then think again. Food is lacklustre and overpriced. Lamb specifically is dog food. Service will gaslight until you accept the slow service is part of the experience. 1hr30mins until cutlery was laid down after ordering. 15£ aperol spritz make your mind up. The waiter was eventually apologetic and offered a discount. Can recommend. Just get a bottle of beer and antipasto dish.

We had a fantastic night at 28-50. The service was impeccable. We were booked for 7:45, and the music started promptly at 8:30 which gave us enough time to settle in and have a cocktail. We had a lovely host for the night named Raymond, who was friendly, took our coats and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great night. We had never been to 28-50, so didn’t know what to expect. Pros: great service, great music- the band played many sets with short breaks in between. I would ask to sit nearer the back of you want to chat the night away though, as it can get quite loud at the front. We managed to have group chats in the breaks, but this was part of the fun! The charcuterie and cheese starter and drinks (we had cocktails and wine) were fab. Cons: Aside from the steaks the options for mains courses were pretty limited, with not many to choose from. The amount of mains on the menu could be improved. Whilst I enjoyed my (cheeseburger) it was a safer option- please add more food on the menu! :)

Lovely evening - great music but experience was marred a little because it’s really noisy - so you can’t hear the singer. Which is a real shame. The menu was a little strange. OK but odd. Overall a lovely evening. The staff are aaaammmmmaaaaazing. In central London to have staff like that? Huge achievement.

Our experince here was amazing, the staff made it such a special night more me and my partner and it made our weekend. The music was such a vibe, the drinks and food where such a reasonable price and we would reccomend 28-50 By Night to everyone. This was our favourite experince out of our whole weekend.

Great place and the band was awesome! Great ambiance Food was good- I had said I was pregnant and to ensure well cooked lamb but came out pink (lucky I checked with camera phone light as it is dark in there). They seemed busy so me and my husband just switched our dishes. Also I had mentioned it was my husbands birthday on booking and sadly nothing really done to acknowledge this.
