   I was highly disappointed in the way we were received upon arriving at this restaurant. I actually almost left and did not eat there. We are from out of town and had to produce a show at the Rosen Plaza over the weekend. As we wrapped up and were on our way, I called the restaurant at least 5 times to say we’d be 10-13 mins late as there was traffic on I-4. But there was an answering service that went straight to voicemail. When I realized I had not gotten through, I searched for other phone numbers and to no avail. Then I messaged the restaurant on the OpenTable app. We arrived 14 mins late. Most restaurants that are within the grace period. When we arrived, the manager/host greeted us very rudely with, “You’re late.” I explained we called, etc., and she continued to persist and was so rude for a couple minutes. I am a destination event planner in all my years over 10 years of going to restaurants, producing events, and dealing with country tourism boards, whether in the USA or out of the country. I had not ever experienced such a rude greeting like that. I was so disappointed in how rude she was. Being an event planner I respect people’s time which is why I made every effort to get in contact with the restaurant. The sad part is I was so excited to bring my event team here since we are from out of town, and I wanted to close out the weekend with a treat at this restaurant. Instead, we had a terrible greeting and left Orlando on a sour note. On the other hand our waiter Mati was very pleasant. I will not be dining here again and highly recommend Helena for brunch. Customer service there is unmatched.

   We planned for a breakfast for four at 9am. One of our attendees was a physician from Tampa who got called that morning to an emergency in Ft. Myers. I notified 240 Rose Cafe by phone and Open Table messaging with a request to move back to 10am. Two of us were on time but due to I-4 delays, the doctor and his assistant arrived at 10:45am. My chief paramedic and I had breakfast at 10 and the server provided breakfast for the doctor and assistant upon arrival. The server and restaurant went out of their way to accommodate us due to these unusual circumstances and I cannot thank them enough. Breakfast was outstanding and service the same!

   The food is very good. The service is just okay. Some of the staff were great others not very nice. I wish I could say I loved it something was just a little off.

   The cafe has good food but service is just ok and prices are just too high. 5.00 got ice tea, come on. Service were not very friend and seem to just go thru the motions. Nothing terrible just not great.

   This restaurant is a scammer!! Do not go here !!!! Bad service, bad food, just bad overall. I do not recommend this at all. They are scamming people on tips. Staff is extremely rude. Honestly I can’t even believe OpenTable would have them on here.. even though we attended our reservation they still charged me a cancellation fee.

   We went to this brunch spot with about 10 people for a birthday party. I am inexperienced with how large parties work and they said we couldn’t be served until everyone got there. Additionally, there was one large check. I have learned that those are normal occurrences for large parties but it still felt odd. I am not sure if they were used to having large parties because a lot of the drinks were hot instead of cold, orders were slightly messed up and the atmosphere seemed to have a lot of tension. Overall, it was cute but the food was also expensive for what it was. I am not sure I will go back if I have a larger party. I will probably go back for their pastries with a small group.

   240 Rose Cafe was a perfect location for a birthday brunch. The team went above and beyond. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was just the right spot for the group. Thank you and can't wait to come back.

   My experience was close to perfection. I celebrated my baby sprinkle at 240 Rose Cafe with 28 of my family members on the outdoor patio and the service, food and staff were amazing. The manager Catalina was amazing to work with. She was so sweet and provided everything we needed to make this celebration stress free for me. My guest loved the venue and the food. The baker Jennifer that works with the restaurant did an absolutely amazing job on my custom cake and it was exactly what I asked for and so beautifully decorated and it was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and anyone looking to host a special event.

   Our family of 12 reserved a table for Easter Brunch. No problems to reserve; table was ready when we arrived. Excellent coffee menu. Good choice of brunch items, including kids menu.

    The manager is rude. She wears a gray wig. I reserved space for 9, they prepared for 8ppl. One of my guest ordered turkey bacon and they brought her pork, lastly, they have a photo wall and the manager was upset because my guest were maneuvering to take photos around the other guest. Bad attitudes!! Horrible service. Never again!!!!!!!!!
