   Great location in Durham city centre. We were a table of 5 and when we arrived, there were 2 other tables occupied upstairs. Food was standard, the service however, let the evening down, not just for our table but all of the upstairs occupied tables were kept waiting throughout the evening. We were sat for over 20 minutes before a drinks order was taken, we then had to wait another 15 minutes before the drinks arrived and two drinks were missing once they came. We were then served another tables starter and one of the orders for the main course was wrong. There were enough staff, just not efficient service or attention to the customer.

   Had a great meal, the flat iron steak is delicious and very good price. Everything is beautifully presented, and tastes as good as it looks. The only ever so slight minus was that the chips have changed. We always get the triple cooked chips and they have been in the past exceptionally good, and thick cut. Now they are skinny chips and while very good, not as good as previously. Please bring back the thick cut chips.

   Arrived about half an hour early and they were incredibly accommodating and seated us upstairs in the window with a lovely view . Food was first class as was the service. Will definitely visit again.

   Simple restaurant with really good burgers. Kebabs a real hit too. Had great service. And the price was ok too.

   I often pop in to 19Twenty for cocktails but I had a business meeting with a colleague staying in the city so booked a table for food. First and foremost you always get a warm welcome here, no matter who is seating you. That makes a huge difference to the experience! The staff are young, energetic, smiley and attentive. Quick to take orders and quick to deliver - chatty without being intrusive. (The place wasn’t over busy which I’m sure helped). The food was mouthwatering - high standard, piping hot, tasted beautiful and represented great value - I eat regularly in Durham and this meal was right up there. Would highly recommend - 5 stars all around from me!

   Really lovely little restaurant serving burgers, steaks, kebabs, salads and fish. Staff were lovely and attentive. Food was delicious with good sized portions. The sea bass was well cooked. The dauphinois potatoes had fallen apart as they were sitting in the sauce that came with the fish but still tasted lovely. My friend’s burger looked amazing. Put it this way she ate it all and that rarely happens. Good choice of cocktails. I’d definitely go back.
