   First time dining here with my colleague after a very long day at work! We had great service provided by Iva & Scott upstairs in the bar area. They both were very personable and took the experience to the next level. Jakob also did a great job checking in with tables and making sure they had everything they needed. Drinks and dinner were fabulous! I will definitely be returning in the near future ◡̈ (the espresso martinis are fire)

   My fillet mignon was perfection with the garlic sauce. The hanger steak which we have never had before was rich , very tender with a hint of sweet. The chocolate tart was excellent

   Beautiful restaurant. Excellent cocktails. The oysters were fantastic. The duck was cooked perfectly and delicious. Great service and very nice atmosphere.

   Initially our waiter was friendly and helpful but once our food was served he never came back to the table until we were ready for dessert. While our meals were both well done and delicious both entrees and sides arrived just barely warm. We had a bowl of their signature lobster bisque and found it rather "fishy" tasting and to contain, literally, a single lump of lobster. $20? Won't get it again. My filet was one of best I've had in Richmond and would have been so much better served hot. It was so cool that the $5 pat of garlic butter on top of it did not melt... We were told the sides would be large enough to share and they were. However it might have been nice to have been provided with a serving utensil so share them out. Dinner for two with 3 drinks came to $200 before the gratuity. Overall the restaurant is interesting but I think our next visit will be to a high top in the bar for appetizers and drinks instead of a full meal.

   We have gone there several times before and everything had been wonderful. Tonight when we went the service and food were not great. My filet was full of fat and not cooked well, and brought back to me that way after telling them the first time I would like a different cut due to the fattyness of the filet. The crème brûlée was cold and had a gelatin consistency underneath.

   The dirty dishes sat too long and food was delivered with them sitting there. The side dishes were just ok. My lamb was overcooked and I sent it back and the replacement came after my table mates were finished eating. My table mate said they should comp me and the waiter asked the manager and they did but it was disappointing. They cocktails and oysters were good .

   I wish this restaurant was better. Maybe it’s because we have only sat on the second floor. The service is incredibly slow; 40 minutes for a cocktail is simply way too long no matter how you look at it. The food other than steak is actually very tasty inventive and good. The sides the soup and the salmon were great. This restaurant cannot cook steak. We’ve been here twice and they cannot cook to temperature, it’s always overcooked. Tonight I received a medium/well steak on a medium rare order. Sent it back and received a steak the SAME temp. Maybe they just cook all steaks medium and assume it’s not objectionable and most people won’t send them back. It’s not Applebees, for 70 bucks you should be able to prepare a steak to temp, and if you don’t at least apologize and get it right the second time. And if you fail at that take the steak off the bill. None of this happened.
