Filet mignon was ordered medium, arrived very rare. The replacement was better, but too rare. And it was pretty bland, relying on the sauce for flavor. The 1700 steak sauce was ok. The garlic mashed potatoes were similarly bland. Others in our party experienced bland steak that was a bit tough, and lobster tail consisting of the shell stuffed with pieces of chopped lobster instead of the actual tail meat. Bread was only allowed after ordering, and just one piece at a time. I guess the restaurant wants to make sure diners don’t just drink, eat bread and leave. The main floor men’s room was closed for cleaning at 6pm (peak hour). The upstairs men’s room smelled of Marijuana. Now granted, the restaurant and hotel it was in can’t be the restroom police. But at these prices, I expect much higher quality food and generous service. If you’re looking for a high quality, upscale meal, go somewhere else.

The best steakhouse in El Paso. It is located in the Paso Del Norte hotel adjacent to the Dome bar. Spent a lovely evening in the Jack Black cigar room enjoying a pre dinner cocktail and cigar. The meal and service was exceptional. Expensive.

We were a party of four celebrating a birthday. We started our evening by arriving a few minutes early to enjoy a cocktail in the dome bar. It is always so special to relax and enjoy a drink there. Our table was perfect. We were quickly greeted by our server and offered water. We ordered a bottle of bubbly to celebrate and it was perfectly chilled and made the evening all the more special. I had the tomato bisque soup to start off the meal and it was delicious. The bread was super soft and tasted so good with the flavored butter. One member of our party ordered the fish special. It was perfectly prepared. Two of us decided to share the Wagyu ribeye with some extra sides. The kitchen perfectly separated the sides and the steak. The presentation was flawless and the food was delicious! One other member had the tenderloin and you can never go wrong with this cut of meat. Everything was perfect! Love to celebrate here! We will be back soon!

Took an hour and a half to get any food on a preset menu… Every course we got was cold… Our entrée was the worst prime rib we’ve ever had. There were six of us… The tab was over $1000… The worst most expensive in my life.

Expensive steakhouse: I expect your service to be great, but it wasn’t. Mediocre. Waitress didn’t remember what we had ordered, service was slow. My medium rare $63 steak was served between medium and medium well…. Come on, you should know how to cook a steak! Then it took 20 minutes to get the replacement. Thank you for taking my drinks off the bill ( at least they did that…). Never saw the manager… probably should have come to the table… Definitely not worth the high price overall… and if you include the drink we had at the Dome bar in this review it gets even worse. No service at all, had to clear my own table and get my own drinks. They claimed to be busy, but both waiters walked by our table 10 times without even acknowledging us. We will not go back!!

Beautiful restaurant. Low perfect lighting. Individual small lamp at each table. Choose your own steak knife from many options. Delicious sauce options with filet mignon . Excellent truffle mac & cheese. Thank you to our server Michael for being attentive, you made our dinner memorable!! Will definitely return.
