   FIRST TIME THERE. BEING IN A LEMON GARDEN IN SORRENTO WAS PLEASANT. THERE COULD BE MORE SPACE AND IT WAS BUSY AND FELT A BIT OVERCROWDED. SERVICE WAS AVERAGE. FOOD WAS GOOD. I WILL RETURN BUT WHEN IT WAS NOT AS BUSY AS IT WAS VERY LOUD.

   There was 1 waiter for the whole restaurant on a Friday night . Apparently they only have 2 waiters for the restaurant and one was sick . Waited 15 min just for waiter to first come to table and that was only because I asked the bus boy to flag him down. Food was average .

   The food is always incredible. Never had a bad meal. The only issue is the service. You wait and wait for someone to come over and open your wine, and then you have to flag someone down to take your order. There is a lot of down time from the time you arrive, to ordering, to food, to dessert, and then you get the check thrown at you because it is closing time and they rush you out. Maybe get one more server to assist taking care of the customers and then this would be a 4 star all the way!!!!!

   I ordered the truffle pasta and a side of broccoli rabe. The pasta was delicious, the broccoli rabe, after a few times asking, arrived at the end of the meal. It was microwaved cold broccoli, not broccoli rabe. Our waiter was awful, he couldn’t be bothered to wait our table. However, the busboy was fabulous. He was attentive, pleasant and did a great job.

   We have a few times now. The food is consistently delicious and fresh. Service is good as well. Design on the inside of the restaurant is very nice. Give them a try!

    We enjoy coming here, however the restaurant does not have casual prices, while they have downgraded the ambiance. Tablecloths invite a certain kind of specialness that goes along with a Saturday evening. The restaurant looks bare without them. We were disappointed that they are no longer used. Additionally, it is not necessary to showcase dessert images that do not look authentic . I think most diners would be much happier with a small number of authentic house made desserts. We do greatly miss the Sicilian Sun homemade ricotta cheesecake. A small dessert menu hand printed would be so appealing— even gelato or house made tiramisu. Pizzas are great!
