Away from the hustle and bustle of the casino on the mezzanine is South Point's Primarily Prime Rib. Catering to hearty appetites, the menu features five flavorful prime rib cuts, dry aged to ensure tenderness, seasoned and slowly roasted. Other dishes aim to please all palates. All meals include a choce of soup or salad and choice of potato or seasonal vegetables, plus fresh and warm sour dough bread.
Sip on a signature cocktail, sit back and relax as your favorite prime rib cut is prepared to your liking by our culinary staff. Add on a bottle of our "Wine of the Month" for only $20 or enjoy one of our other fine selections.
Primarily Prime Rib is not just our name, but it's what we do better than anyone else. Come give us a try and you won't be disappointed.

Experience was fantastic as always but our only disappointment is they should serve 6 shrimp in the shrimp cocktail instead of 4 as a portion. We love it so much but my husband always eats 3 of the 4 leaving me just one LOL!!!

We met some friends here and expected an incredible evening. They were busy and our server had multiple tables sat at the same which made it difficult for her to handle. She did an incredible job under the circumstances, and her fellow team members did a good job as well. We had a few issues. One item forgotten. Soup being lukewarm, and the apricot and walnut salad, not being impressive by any stretch of the imagination. It didn’t have a lot of the items we were expecting on it and actually had a bit of an earthy taste. When the entrées arrived, it was apparent that they had been trayed up and ready to be served. But were left somewhere waiting for our server to get back to actually deliver the items. For the price point that we paid, which we expected for an upper end restaurant ,we were very disappointed. Our server and her busser did an amazing job under the circumstances. But the quality of the food was diminished by being served less than piping hot. They were nice enough to remove the salads from our bill, but doesn’t excuse food being served less than hot and fresh.

I’m a local to Vegas and eat here several times a year. I have always been impressed by the menu and the service. But, our meal yesterday was completely different. Service was mediocre and 2 of my favorite menu items are no longer offered. Do better! The Prime Rib is always excellent! Please bring back the Spinach Salad! The house salad is not appealing to me at all. Thank you!

I was surprised that a new restaurant had staff that was very unaccomadating. Started off ok. Drinks were offered we ordered. I had a lemon drop. The lemon drop on the menu was $9 so when I was offered different lemon drop, I ordered and was not told it cost $3 more. Also order Brussel sprouts. They were a complete disappointment. Soggy and yuck! Also I do not understand hiw a complimentary Birthday Sundae cost $3. We did not ask for it but had to pay! I feel if they would have adjusted the bill a few dollars, everyone would have been happy. Surprise lemon drops and sundae. Staff was not interested in making patrons happy. Food was very good. We will not try again.

Wife and I went for our anniversary and had a nice time! Congratulatory card at the table greeted us and complimentary champagne, nice touch! We shared chicken bites for appetizer, then she had the bbq prime rib mac and cheese while I had the 10 oz. prime rib for dinner, which we enjoyed. We also had wine with dinner, so the very reasonable check of $73 was a pleasant surprise! Great service, very good food and acceptable prices made our evening most enjoyable…thank you, Primarily Prime Rib!
