The service is always very good and attentive at Powder. We dined there last year for a birthday celebration and then again this year and we noticed that the portions were definitely significantly smaller. (Great for those looking to trim their waistlines but we were famished after skiing) Some of the entree portions were more like appetizers on a big plate . (But very nicely presented) The food, was mostly, very good. There were mixed reviews for dessert-the de-constructed red velvet cake with some of us preferring the constructed version. Overall, the quality of food was very good. The lighting above our section must have had a loose connection as it would get dimmer and then brighter. But, overall, a good dining experience with good cocktails and meals.

Pretentious atmosphere, very loud room, food was terrible, a surprising turn of events. Sablefish had multiple bones in every bite, had to send back. Was replaced with overdone salmon. Lemon chicken was dry as a bone. Sourdough, offered as a separate order, was nothing more than dry, day old bread for $18. that is insulting. Waitress seemed to have a tude but did comp the fish meal after admitting to knowing the Sablefish was full of bones. Never mentioned when it was first ordered. We have made Powder a steady must-visit on our annual PC trip but after last night, we will not be going back.

Dulia was an excellent server! Great food. I recommend the sour dough appetizer. We shared the arugula salad which paired well with the wagyu ragu. Delish! Also, the mezcal Old Fashioned was very nice.

Service was great… That's why the three stars. Food was OK but nothing special prices were extremely high. Don't be drawn in by the sourdough appetizer. I've had better sourdough from a grocery store. It's four slices of sourdough bread and some butter for $18.
