Popei's has been around for 40 years! We are family-owned and operated and really care about our customers.

Popei's offers a wide variety of menu items, all proven to be the best. We won best seafood restaurant on Long Island by News 12! So, if it's the best crablegs, lobsters, calamari or shrimp you want, you just found your place. OH, that's right, we also have some of the best cuts of beef around, not to mention our award winning babyback ribs!

Huge selection of everything seafood. Many items are listed as "MP" or "market price", which can be scary but the prices were fair for the dishes we ordered. Hot lobster roll and "linguine with the works". The linguine with the works had a VERY generous amount of shellfish for the price. Not a 5-star review however because the linguine was overcooked, too soft. And the hot marinara sauce for the shellfish wasn't as tasty or hot as I'd hoped. But still a great dish, it missed the mark by a only a bit. The server was very attentive and the chef came around to check on how we were doing. (I wasn't brave enough to offer my constructive criticism in the moment...) The entrees came out too quickly - I was still working on my Greek salad (which was also good), and I'm not a slow eater. Anyhow, overall we were happy with the meal and would recommend Popei's. Clearly they're trying hard to provide a good experience for their patrons, and they delivered!

Nicole our server was excellent. Made recommendations that were great. I had the broiled seafood combination. Excellent!!! My wife had the shell fish frenzy. She loved it. Great night.

It was a very playful experience. It is small intimate and the workers made you feel like family. It was my first time there, and I’ve heard about it for quite some time and I will definitely return again. Audrey made my experience most pleasant and she was most attentive.
