- DDawnToronto / Ontario •19 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOutstanding, as usual. The flat iron tartare was the winner dish of the evening, a 'special' that deserves a permanent spot on the menu. Service was impeccable; the servers' attention to detail was exactly what you would expect from a M rated restaurant. My third time at Quetzal. So far, its been better each time I go.More infoQuetzalPrice: Very Expensive• Mexican• Little Italy / College St.•4.8
- CchrisToronto / Ontario •10 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoGreat hole-in-the-wall, nicely decorated. Good background music. Seating a little too tight on the veranda section which caused some problems with seating etc. Service wasn't quick at first but we liked it that way. Pacing between courses was excellent. Three of us had the Chef chooses - great choice. We were VERY full when we walked out. Starters were homemade tortillas chips with very nice guac & salsas and tasty ceviches. Courses raged from fish tacos to carnitas to beef to BBQ Mexican corn ... You get the picture - lots of good eats! Highly recommended! And SUPER gluten free friendly. A must stop for celiacs.More infoEl Pocho Antojitos BarPrice: Expensive• Mexican• The Annex•4.8
- JJasmynToronto / Ontario •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 14, 2024La Bartola has an ambient atmosphere perfect for intimate dates or more lively dinners with colleagues and friends. The staff are attentive and friendly, willing to offer recommendations and explanations of menu items without hesitation. I had their white mole dish, followed by the chocolate cake, and was blown away by how incredible everything tasted. For cocktails, the Oaxacan (pronounced "Wa-ha-kan") Old Fashioned is an unmissable classic, combining the flavours of an Old Fashioned with the unmistakeable smokiness of mescal, which is a Oaxacan specialty. I've been to Bartola twice now and, as a non-vegan, find their menu exciting, intriguing, and, above all, outstanding. I will be back!More infoLa BartolaPrice: Expensive• Mexican• Little Italy / College St.•4.7
- CCarolinevipToronto / Ontario •46 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 6, 2024We went during happy hour and the prices were right and the food was fantastic. I had the cod tacos, which were incredible along with a very yummy margarita. It was the perfect place to have a bite to eat before seeing a concert at the Opera House.More infoLa Carnita - LeslievillePrice: Moderate• Mexican• Entertainment District•3.9
